  1. Does anyone know why womens and mens sex toys are banned in Thailand? Isnt that a recipe for people in the ER shoving non body safe items inside themselves? I am sorry you have to try and work around this seemingly sexist law Matej. I would like to travel with mine, but they are so expensive, I wont risk having them taken. Thanks for bringing this up, as I may have stupidly put them in my luggage. Please let me know if your purchase arrives safely.

  2. Unfortunately marijuana is illegal in Thailand for some reason... although they have some pretty awesome strains. So if you want to ease your symptoms it should help you but you'll likely have to travel to a country with sufficient medical marijuana research to just juice the plants parts and eat the decarboxylated flower in oil. I was on a plane ride with a pastor next to me and he informed me he literally stuffed canna-oil with shea butter (to keep it solid before administration) into his father's rectum and it lengthened his life/quality of life after his own wife used it intra-vaginally for her cervical cancer.  She surpassed the doctors estimates of life by at least 2 years. His father is still living and he waited until he was bleeding rectally for 3 months before bringing it up and going to the dr to be diagnosed.

Quality of life is a great concern in times like these, and even without consulting Israel's research funded by the US government,  I can say medical administration of mmj is almost every form has excellent effects on a persons positivity/outlook.

  3. My husband and I are going but we're getting information from my BIL who went 3 times a few years back... things may have changed and you're probably more knowledgeable.

I want to buy a one way ticket and a ticket to a European country for after the 90 days is up. He wants to buy a round trip ticket as he does not want to travel to the country I wish to visit friends in.

We have received our passports in the mail. If we can sell all our things fast enough, we should be out of here in a month. I will not be returning for as long as possible. I figured a 90 day tourist visa should work, but I want your advice.

What do each of us need to do and in what order?  Neither of us have left the country before and it's a bit confusing and cumbersome. It's like they want us to stay in this strange country called the USA forever -.-

  4. I have a workaway profile which I've talked to many farms on. If you had no luck otherwise, it's worth a shot. We wanted to get a wooof profile, but they charge like 50USD and they don't have couples profiles. They mentioned they can give free membership to those with low income, but I'm not sure quite how they do that. We are going to thailand soon, so if anyone else knows of farms they have not yet posted, please do! Thank you for sharing!

  5. Thank you so much! Sunnyjim, if you're referring to US insurance, I believe obamacare changed the pre existing condition deal. However, purchasing insurance here is unhelpful in the very best scenario. Travel insurance would cover the cost of any unforeseen early return or something correct? Sheryl, your advice is very helpful. We appreciate it :)

  6. ( I'm gonna talk about nuts, so brace yourself :D ) My husband is in great health, but has had a varicocele his whole life (he's 24)and it causes him severe pain now. What's worse, is it may be impacting his testosterone production and fertility since it is in the left testicle. I am fertile & we've been together about 5 years without protection, so I'm lead to believe we may have trouble reproducing if we chose to at some point without this surgery. I have requested information from a few hospitals, but I'm not sure if they are recommended or will even provide any information via online form. If you can suggest anywhere to go, or anyone to talk to, we would really appreciate it. Either before embarking in June or during our stay(mostly in bangsaen) It's my understanding that without insurance, anything other than embolization is outrageously expensive here in the US. I got a quote a while back for surgery costing just as much as embolization here(he doesn't want his jewels under an xray for an hour, i dont blame him) so I figured it would be worth a shot to try and get it done. He has never seen a urologist before because an appointment for a referral or consultation for surgery would be around $200 for a 30 min visit followed by $6-$8K for the surgery. Hopefully not having medical history is not an issue, as i figured he would be buying a consult/exam in Thailand. His pediatrician from at least 10 years ago saw no issue with it being extremely harmful other than being painful and impacting free testosterone/fertility down the line. If you have any estimate of how long he might be in the hospital or just on bedrest after a procedure like this? Also, would purchasing insurance from an agent here bring the hospital bill cost down any over there? Again, any info is much appreciated.
