  1. I had the X-Pro 2 and the XT-2.  One huge difference for me was the tilting screen on the XT-2.  It is fantastic as at my age (55) I do not feel like lieing down to get shots, etc.,  With this camera I can shoot with a table top tripod (always in my bag) and see what I am getting.  I would advise you to get extra batteries and a shutter release as well.  They help immensely in doing some fun types of shots and are very light and easy to carry.  My current favorite table top tripod is made by really right stuff -- those are the only tripods I use and they are fantastic.  B&H Photo out of New York carries them and the camera.  Also remember to order the base plate.  If you have any questions, let me know.  One great thing about the Fuji system is that it is small.  I used to be sponsored by Canon and the large lenses and cameras actually scared people when I was photographing in VN.  Favorite lens Fuji makes:   16mm 1.4, 35 1.4 and the 550-140 2.8.  That should be enough for anyone.

  2. Let's see:  no helmut, expired travel insurance, not enough in the bank so that his family would have enough to bring him home.  How irresponsible could this guy be?  Samantha, his girlfriend, is not part of the emergency package fund.  Presumably she has a return ticket and can fly home herself.  Not much sympathy for the pain this guy has caused his family.  If the whole family cannot raise 10,000 on its own, it is pretty pathetic.

  3. It would be nice if you got your facts straight before you post a story. Her husband is a 67 year old man from Ireland. She was out with a friend most of the night and then she came and called us to have a beer with us (her husband and me). Another friend joined us. She left and went to the roof and jumped without ever giving us a clue she was upset or anything else. She gave us all hugs and we thought she was going to sleep. She jumped off the roof, not a balcony. Our staff were fantastic in how they handled the situation. She lived there with her husband for at least 6 months. He deserves sympathy and compassion as he now is dealing with the mess she left and her family. Also, she was by no means a bar girl. I live there as well.
