One who presumes to know what others believe and answers questions with questions tells me all I need to know about your understanding of human nature.

Yes, you are correct. I should've said extremely low, almost zero risk. I'm guessing most who do allow their children to get vaccinated are doing so because they feel they need to try and mitigate that extremely low risk.

Why is the sky blue? Is God real?

I think it's best to use logic. We all have immune systems that can fight off viruses, some better than others. It's quite evident that children have the strongest immune systems and covid apparently poses no zero risk to children. Why the need to vaccinate them if they can fight off the virus naturally?

What is house arrest? What if you're in a hotel? A nightly hotel bill is certainly cheaper than a hospital bill.

Can you provide links to these 'stories' please?

What would happen if you are forced into a hospital because of positive test, but you don't have the means to pay for it upfront (let's say you don't have credit cards, atm cards, and only 20k THB cash on you), yet you have the covid insurance? Will the hospital work with the insurer directly for payment?

Country Ready to Resume Test & Go Entry on Feb 1
thaiman replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It does show what the Thai leaders really think of foreign tourists doesn't it? They can't hide their disrespect. -
If you provoke rattlesnakes then you increase the likelihood of being bitten. Thailand is loaded with 'rattlesnakes'. Those of us in Thailand know that Thais rarely attack unless provoked. The information that is lacking in this incident is, "why did the perpetrator attack and kill?" We need to hear his side of the story as to why he committed this horrendous crime. Was he provoked? Was he angry? Is he insane?

Nong Khai border reopening imminent?
thaiman replied to BritTim's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The border is and has been open for awhile through the delightful "happy" quarantine scheme only. -
Very Thai of them!

did you ever see a printout of your test result?

Does Thailand really need tourism? How much stake do the richest families, who actually rule Thailand, have in the tourism sector? Seems that Thailand wants tourism but doesn't necessarily need it. Maybe it's just a 'gravy' industry? If they really need tourism, then why did they voluntarily shut it off?
