  1. Greetings OP and all TV members. I hope you all remain strong and well in these challenging times.
Here s my list of pretty awsome non-violent hidden gems.Guaranteed to make you feel+think.
All of them I saw in free movies sites with english subs.Relax and enjoy.

    1 The Court (India)

2 Taxi also known as Taxi Tehran (Iran)

    3 Embrace of the serpent

    4 Hotel Budapest

5 The Darjeeling limited (and Royal Tenenbaums)

6 Magnolia (in the spirit of 21 grams and Vavel)

    7 Man from Earth

    8 Samsara

9 The wings of love (original Wim Wenders)

10 After hours (Scorsese knows comedy too)

Try early movies of Werner Herzog such as Aguirre for super surreal feeling

and yes the Cohen brothers and Tarantino are masters of movie making.
Bonus track:The man who would be king.

  2. You seem more keen to trust a Thai jeweler rather than a Norway one in order to save a

couple of hundreds of euros.. Man I dunno.. You re supposed to do a thoral research (and reach

a conclusion) before spending big on a diamond ring.

If there was such a difference in the price of a diamond ring between Bangkok and Oslo...

then I d be doing this trip 6 times a year!

Bying a diamond engeagement ring is not rocket science. Do your homework.

PS I m selling diamonds 25 years now, at 25% off Rappaport report.

  3. Find a reputable jeweller in Norway.Ask him to explain you the 4C s.Ask for GIA certificate.Ask anything.

DO NOT buy the ring in Thailand. It stands clear that you have no idea about diamonds or jewelry, and

you re going to be easy pray for them.

    Best wishes for your marriage.

  4. OP, you made an intersting and thoughtfull post which captures our interest in TV as much as in real life.

It s (everyday) hard to distinguish between real need and professional beggars.

We all know that professional beggars will try to use pittyfull emosions against you.

I spended 3 months this year in pattaya. In 3 months, I was able to tell the difference between professsional beggars

and people who are in need.I spended my money-and gave my friendship- to people that never asked me anything.

Father Ray foundation is a sure hit.You can go and meet the orfan children. You will get a receit for your donation.

2500 baht buys a lunch for all children.I recommend it.

You have the right to say no in the street,as you don t know if you are conned or not.People make a living

from the street, but you don t.I m personaly kind, and I m defensive.

You need to establish the power to say no ,if otherwise people will take advantage on you.
