The US needs to control its borders just like Thailand does. It should also require Thais living in America to register every 90 days or be fined. Having laws that block Thais from land ownership would be good as well. In addition, those who publicly speak out against the US should lose their visas or not get them. And when Thais quit their jobs, they should be forced to go outside the US to get a new visa. Did I mention higher fee for Thais when they enter US parks? Other businesses can determine if they want to overcharge Thais. By adding a little Thainess to US rules and laws, America could be a better place.

You are one of a small few who gets it. Thailand has crossed my line a couple years back with the additional paperwork (7-10 pamphlet) map to dwelling, photos of bedroom and home invasion interview. I went from 30 pages/copies 15+ years ago to a whopping 90+ pages (2 sets) a couple years back. If I ever get to work immigration in my home country I personally will go rouge, and have get hard on for Thai HI-So's. I never had a problem with not owning land rule in Thailand, money in bank, etc.. I have since heard about another new form, posting of Furongs lat, long on public internet space. I plan to get the word out to anybody I meet, or any form I come across when Thailand is mentioned. Reciprocal treatment plus interest is warranted per Country. If Thailand demands 90 days, so should Furongland, If Thailand needs village headman -Furong requirements should be you need the Mayor. If Thailand needs 100 pages every 11 months, Furongland should require 200. If Thailand needs pictures of Bedroom and map then Furongland needs the same picture only Hi-Def poster size. Want to extend visa, must travel 1-4 hours by car, must have money in U.S. bank. The only ones defending Thailand's practices are dual citizens or the retired. Glad I left when I did. Where do I sign up for immigration deportation police in my home Furongland.

  2. Nobody brings up why he does not need to show U.S. immigration a map to his house, go travel to some office with the land owner with stacks of papers? Where is the online map showing his gps coordinates? The "trust me I am Thai" works in Colorado?

Did he do his 90 day report? Why not? Is he tourist or green card? Does he have skills?

I want to see pictures of his bedroom.

Nobodyelse's blood is boiling? If I am the only one to comment on this, then that says allot.

If you don't know what to say to your leader in your home country just copy and past this reply to your official. Demand Answers.

    Demand reciprocal treatment.

Maybe he has a retirement visa under review.

  3. there are only variations of a limited number if rifs in all music.

any song can be related to a previous song if you try hard enough to find it.

    there are no new songs...

    just variations of older songs

but we also have lawyers, the scum of the earth who make a fortune of of the misfortune of others.

    therein lies the real problem.

Mostly from West Coast (California, Hawaii, Florida too)

  4. Great another topic of the same.

Thai Immigration Asks Foreigners for Bank Accounts, Social Media, Hangouts -LOCKED

Confusion .... (probably soon to be locked)

Personal information form (the new topic!)

you can't make this stuff up. rofl

The whole country is parched and baking hot - so much so that even I'm thinking that the the tree hugging eco-zealots who deride us all as polluters might have a point after all. Emitting all those greenhouse gases, as they do, by banging on incessantly with all their climate change control freakish twaddle, as well as their flying around the world in gas guzzling jets to attend mutual back slapping green conferences in far flung places. All this profligacy may indeed be turning the world into a desert.

I hope the rain comes sooner rather than later, to prove the greenies all wrong and bring us all some much needed relief from the heat. Next up, we'll be neck deep in floods again, and a different climate change rationale will be in vogue, how el-ninja being thrown out of kilter unless we all go back to the stone age, ride solar powered bicycles and eat recycled horse manure.

Isn't it amazing that solar energy seems to be unknown here?

Teacher: You should ditch windows 8, Solar was a thing, then the price of oil went from almost 200$ to 40$, Its no longer cost effective. %loss Makes me chuckle a little.

  7. Ohh my...

There are still Americans who can think critically, think outside the box. People are in 2 groups mostly. Those who can, and those who can only talk.

We all know skills are important. Its time for those skill-less who just collect free stuff and whine too "get off the pot". Put some big boy pants on. Interesting how this is all being played out. Career politicians will soon be at the unemployment office or.... worse. I think most of them are traitors. Treasonous.

  8. You may be right Winniedapu. My views are Thailand has her new overlord. The new boss wants to see more Chinese in Thailand and less Furong. This is like ukraine with Thailand being the rice bowl, they already have millions of tons of iron, coal. Now they have food to feed themselves. Its just a matter of time, If Furong on long stay haven't left Thailand yet, you should make plans too. Imagine a conflict breaking out, a nationalistic group with gps coordinates on your home.

Well, that's certainly one possible possible future for Thailand, but I doubt it will happen. The Thai privileged classes know they are dependent upon the goodwill of the international community for their continued wealth. Prayuth and his thugs serve a purpose but the moment they elites have to contemplate living like the proles, or (God forbid) under a Chinese hegemony, they will kick their sorry asses out very quickly. Either one would terrify the gentry, they're rarely cursed with either bravery or principles, especially the Thai gentry - not in their DNA.

As a farang in the land-of-fixed-and-stupid-looking-grimaces, the best bet is to stay indoors, keep a low online profile (good job that social media is only for social inadequates and people who need some kind of validation from other fools). I'm happy enough to live among the poor of Thailand, I'm pretty anonymous and if I need to do business with Thais, I get my wife to do it - safer, cheaper and I don't get ripped off so much.

Keep your money safe and available, your head down and learn how to look like a sheep in a sheep's clothing - it'll likely be OK.

    Hopefully...

Not possible for some, [edit:furong] sheeps clothing is white wool in with a herd of brown wool. The officer does his master bidding without thought. If the master orders the farmer to cull all the sheep with white wool well... good luck on your hiding spot. Your Interesting because you know, I know. Are we n'sync? lol
  9. I would like to see China slug out with her neighbors. Lets see that Thai aircraft carrier in action. I bet they would have to cut the anchor chain. Maybe some new Thai (Chinese built) sub that gets to see battle on the first patrol. Lots of posturing from the U.S. but gutless.

I don't care for this in between stuff.

Fend for yourself Philippines, Thailand, etc.,

I don't want anymore ASEAN to immigrate to my home country, nor do I want taxes from my country defending mud huts.

Reciprocal treatment plus interest is warranted.

If you are going to the U.S. Embassy to talk Susan B. Anthony coins I would recommend you instead join a coin collectors club. Maybe Donald can recommend one.

You misunderstand- Should they accept u.s. currency at the U.S. embassy. Maybe you can get the mint to make a Hillary coin for you.

  12. Slavery in Thailand, like the Japanese railroad/river kwai. Slavery is found, and guess what your country has done about it? null

What if it was a bunch of Furongs as slaves, I would guess our embassies would still do null.

There must be something Thailand has, like Saudi Arabia has in order for everyone to look the other way. I don't know what it is.

You can't say the west doesn't know either. Thailand is a very social country, most of us have engaged with a conversation with a Thai. Its just question and answer session. There are no secrets in Thailand.

  13. Are there Americans who work in the U.S. embassy. I know the cashier didn't know what a Susan B Anthony coin was, had to go ask someone. What do they do there? When I went their in the past, it felt like I was dealing with Thai and not Americans. You know - the My Die worker.

Trump needs to close that whole complex on wireless down, move it to a building in klong too-ey. For all its wonder service, and appointment system, shakedown detectors.

A paycut is in order too.

Expand trade? Trade what? Hard drives? Autos? Thainess? pathetic

  14. I used to wonder if the guy speaking like a professor at news time has "gone commando" - wearing whitey tidy or something else. Used to crack me up for a while. (commando = not wearing underwear)

Try it next time its news time around 6ish, and a guy starts talking for 20+ minutes. Makes for a good laugh.

By the way- Imm. corruption is linked to the bombings that happened, so instead of discipline, you now get more corruption! Just wait another year when your internet gets shut down. That is great for some people.

Remember when Google got into trouble for not bending over? Just think about the design of the roads and electricity. Everything in Thailand has a single on/off switch. why
