  1. I used to wonder if the guy speaking like a professor at news time has "gone commando" - wearing whitey tidy or something else. Used to crack me up for a while. (commando = not wearing underwear)

Try it next time its news time around 6ish, and a guy starts talking for 20+ minutes. Makes for a good laugh.

By the way- Imm. corruption is linked to the bombings that happened, so instead of discipline, you now get more corruption! Just wait another year when your internet gets shut down. That is great for some people.

Remember when Google got into trouble for not bending over? Just think about the design of the roads and electricity. Everything in Thailand has a single on/off switch. why

  2. classy

One furong says I have nothing to hide, I think its great!.

Another says, I'm leaving, that's it, what is happening is similar to something I read about in a history book.

One of the above gets their computer help on TV, lets say the Linux in Thailand topic, the other goes to a a website just for linux and asks their question there.

    Which one are you?

  3. whaahaha Just put your seat belts on TV members. Its just the start. What is your home country doing about this? ITS PATHETIC. Thailand must receive reciprocal treatment and then some.

tit for tat reciprocal treatment. dont be so pathetic.

Thailand is one of the easiest countries to come and go from and you can be sure a lot of countries do not allow the same freedoms for Thai's or any other nationality to easily come and go.

    Really

Freedom? I can only agree with you about the go part. Maybe the Thai's abroad get the go treatment too with all their freedoms. How many are in Germany? Britain? Time to go back to freedom Thailand.

  4. "Some get it (I myself was like you 8+ extensions back to back then boom it was the last straw) home interviews for all foreseeable extensions. (I will not put up with that)"

WHAT did you do ? "put up" or clear out ?

    clear out

I like history, history gives you clues on when to get out. The signs are there.

I thought Thailand could be a place to retire, WRONG Its about to go full retard like Brazil except with a China twist.

Its not a cheap place to relax anymore. Trump might say the wrong thing, and I don't want to have a whole country smashing my door in a fit of rage.

I decided to spend my tonight hanging out on Thaivisa, waiting for someone to shut me down. heh

Nobody wants to tell me to bugger off yet.

    smile.png Happy to oblige

    B*****r Off !

    goodnight :-)

  6. Don't forget the special paper work (extra 3-5 pages directly from the IO) Then don't forget it takes 5 weeks for IO to give you their decision. During that time you will need to be interview in your dwelling. Bribes will be asked for!

Don't forget to do your re-entry paperwork when you get your stamp if you plan to leave Thailand. Don't forget to do a 90 day while your there! Don't forget the map to your house. Don't forget... ah nevermind. lol

Only 2 weeks at my immigration office.thumbsup.gif No bribe money either.tongue.png

No home interview? Did the misses walk them out the door maybe, and slip the money then?

Retirement or marriage if I may be so bold?

I have done 8 extension based upon marriage and have never had a home visit and certainly never paid a bribe. For first extension we took letters from the local police to immigration a few days after the application was accepted.

Average time for approval is about 30 days from the date my permit to stay ends (they start the 30 days then).

    Very interesting.

Some get it (I myself was like you 8+ extensions back to back then boom it was the last straw) home interviews for all foreseeable extensions. (I will not put up with that)

Similar to mixed reports on this new TM30 deal. I never had to do it, but some on here have been fined.

    Chaos
