Visa Exempt for USA passport.  What are the new requirements for COVID-19.  What is the process when 

entering at Bangkok Sukhumvit?  

Are there any recent updates to the for Visa Exemption (USA passport holder).  Confirm this will be 

place until 30 Sept 2020? 

If in Bangkok for only 4 days what is exit procedure?

Transit in Bangkok?  If I remember to get into the connecting area after arrival in Narita you have to go through security and need a boarding pass.  I do not think you can pass without it.  Also, my memory is that you cannot stay overnight in the boarding area.  Please correct if this is wrong.

I am USA resident and have been traveling to Thailand and entering by air (Bangkok) on the 30-day exempt scheme visa plan for probably 10 years.  I normally do 5 or 6 trips in a 12-month period with an average stay of 3-5 days. The trips are about a month or two apart. On a few different outbound exist the Immigration Officers appears to be counting the entries exits and number of days.

Question: What is the Immigration Officer counting and why?  Thank you in advance.

I appreciate the quick reply. My next trip to from the US to Bangkok is July 2 depart July 6. I will use the on the Exemption Visa VOA planning the entry will be the same as has been for the past 5+ years. thanks again. Will post the results.

Do I need to get the multiple entry visa to do 5 plus trips to Thailand?

I have 5 paid trips of 4 days each in/out with etickets and hotel reservation about 5 weeks apart to Bangkok. For the past 5 plus years, I have entered Thailand on the Exemption VOA and departed before the 30 days. My last trip the agent looked at all the in/out entries probably about 20 stamps. Nothing was said. Just want to do this correct. thanks
