I also don’t understand what is going on.

 I have been calling their Expat number for Advance Account holders,

441534  616212 for 3 days now and I constantly get the same message; that the number is currently busy.

 I do need to speak with them and now I am totally frustrated and unsure what to do next.

They do not accept emails, and their chat service is unavailable.

Any suggestions would be welcome 

Just a small query re The Marriage extension which I will shortly be renewing.

Is it possible to bring the same witness which we have used on the 3 previous renewals?

 I like yourself have similar thoughts and emotions watching the situation

in Huahin.

As the situation darkens daily in Ukraine and the barbaric atrocities are shown across the media, the western powers do nothing more than condemn, meet, or sanction Putin,s regime, for sure they have 

stepped up with aid including everything from Stinger anti tank missiles to formula baby milk.

Along with the above the Allies have 

opened their doors and their hearts to the refugees.

Then there’s Putin, who in my view ,has been in the driving seat from day one and before when 100 or so days of training exercises got underway along the borders with Ukraine.

As you say the fragility of the situation remains acutely dangerous.

However, Putin presses on regardless.

Until he is prepared to engage in 

meaningful dialogue, leading to some kind of compromise, ceasefire,

or armistice to stop the War, then the western world is entirely at his 

mercy.

As usual all very misleading ,extremely annoying and confusing!

I went to the government hospital, 

Huahin yesterday after spending several hours trying to download and register via the MorProm app on my phone.

On arrival at the hospital I was told 

by an English speaking nurse that 

‘They ‘the hospital were not set up for the registration process at all.

So it seems like fake news coming from all directions; Nett Result,

No app down load, no appointment,

no vaccination .

Where do I go from here, down the pub,  whoops I forgot they are closed…………. 

Unfortunately after many attempts 

I am unable to download the 

Mor Prompt application,unlike others 

TV mentioned who have been successful.

I have a Line account and am standing by with my pink Thai ID card, plus I am in the qualifying age 

range.

I would really appreciate any guidance on the process to download the application and register.

 I have been requested to scan the QR code but do not know how to do this on my IPhone; guidance and any assistance for this process 

would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the rate of tax payable on 150 talang wah of land 

in the Soi 112 area of Huahin.

This is land that my Thai wife owns,

and has a Chanote.

I built my house on this land , several years ago, after my wife leased it to me.

I,m  not sure if this tax has passed into law yet, but I think it is about 

to be implemented soon.

Any updates will be appreciated.

If anyone has any experience of this,and

what exactly happened when they visited ,your feedback will be appreciated.

Went to Huahin Immigration
on Friday March 1st expecting to collect printed
details of the new regulations
which I understood came into force on the 1st.
I was told that they were unavailable and they would
not be ready until “sometime “ this week.
Has anyone managed to get
specific printed details of the new requirements for both
retirement extension or marriage visa?

If I understood your post correctly, then I seems to me
that one very small concession has been made
as you stated that the 800000Baht only has to be in a Thai Bank for 2 months
rather than 3 months as per current requirements.
Am I correct in my understanding of your post?

was a complete waste of time?

My visit to Huahin Immigration yesterday CONFIRMED, after conversations with 2 senior Officers,

that ,absolutely NOTHING has changed with regard to visa extensions based on Retirement.

Indeed, they gave me a printed 

leaflet headed ,Retirement Visa.

Regulation & Required Documents.

This leaflet which is available to 

everyone absolutely confirms that the 

current requirements have not 

changed!!!

Would be much appreciated from any

Members who have recently been to

any Central or South American Countries who can share their experiences re,best Airlines,routes travelled,Safety issues,and any other

tips.
