Are you my long lost twin? I ask because not only am I vegetarian but i too despise garlic. I actually have screen shots of "no garlic please" in various languages saved on my phone's photos app. Raw garlic is especially a no no for me, regardless of broken radio reminders about how healthy it is.

This can be quite challenging. I'm vegetarian and have had some very unappetizing experiences in the past. Ordered stir fried veggies and it came with small chunks of pork in it. When i re-ordered withOUT meat, they simply removed the meat from the first order and served it again. I know because they forgot to remove a piece of that pork. In Phnom Penh, I had a similar experience. Their concept of vegetarianism is, yes, food without visible meat or meat which can be seen. So much to my disgust, I was served soup with pork stock or fried rice with little bits of beef in it (they most likely prepared it for several guests and fished out the meat for my order). Grrrrrrr

Or rather, for Karenish reasons? I strongly suspect so.

Don't forget improvements in security databases and intelligence on police officers murderously extorting millions from detained suspects, lifestyle checks and financial audits on such police officers to ensure all those ferraris, bentleys, lambos, maseratis, pateks, rolexs aren't "borrowed".

I see. No idea about those two. All i know is I got the jab and the vaccine ID is now reflecting it as a booster shot (3rd vaccine jab). The first two were Sinovac. -

Buying house for Thai daughter
mvdf replied to thai999's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Why?? She's his daughter. He can give her anything he can afford to give or buy. Why is it a loss to give something to a daughter, whether he's married or not to her mother? I don't calculate when i give something to my children. I never see it as a loss. Love is never selfish.- 57 replies

Banks will assess the risk associated with issuing credit cards to someone where the primary risk factor of absconding or defaulting is compounded by a secondary risk of the principal card holder's death. I'm sure this risk assessment system is encoded in their card management system. When issuing or re-issuing the card, there might be an age threshold which, if reached, would either flag the request or outright refuse to issue the card. The age restriction could be overridden by perhaps talking to your bank and requesting for a collateralised card (i.e. a secured credit card).

Many people believe that skimmers are mainly a problem in the United States, where some ATMs still do not require more secure chip-based cards that are far more expensive and difficult for thieves to clone. However, it’s precisely because some U.S. ATMs lack this security requirement that skimming remains so prevalent in other parts of the world. Mainly for reasons of backward compatibility to accommodate American tourists, a great number of ATMs outside the U.S. allow non-chip-based cards to be inserted into the cash machine. What’s more, many chip-based cards issued by American and European banks alike still have cardholder data encoded on a magnetic stripe in addition to the chip. The incorrigibility of that particular country's banking system.
