I defy anyone to read last night's Manchester Evening News, Glasgow Herald, Liverpool Echo, Birmingham Mail, and all the other regionalised newspapers in the UK, and you will see this kind of unacceptable violence somewhere in there too.
I am not condoning it, but this crap happens all over the world, but is not reported on Thai Visa unless it happens here.

But to be part of the horrendous PC brigade seems fashionable now !
Disgraceful.

P.O.Y. and president of C.M. Expats club, I do not see the relevance this information in your rant ?
Can you enlighten me ?

I never did a French exam.
Let me expand: there are generally three ways in to Oxford --
1. Qualifications. Typically you needed three "A" levels, all at grade A
2. The Oxbridge entrance exams
3. The interview
I don't know how things work these days, but I never did a French exam.
I think being an expert in aviation mishaps qualifies people too !

None of that is relevant to the thread topic.
Try not to attack the individual but comment on the topic if u have an opinion
If you do not want people to attack an individual, do not start nonsensical posts !
And a Yank quote is 'period' !

That's about half a dozen posts on my threads u have made. Each one an odd and disjointed personal attack about me.
I realise you don't live here but if you have an opinion on any of the topics, not the poster, id like to hear an outsiders views
I have probably lived here 24 more years than you !

amazing. people come from a country with a very high standard of living only to live in a rented hovel like that.
Strange comment.
So you think everyone in Switzerland lives in a property worth millions of Francs ?

Kudos to the B.I.B.
If they were all as efficient, they would have had a better reputation. Unfortunately, it is a bit too late for that.

" theft in the hours of darkness "
Is this a separate offence from theft in the hours of daylight or theft, full stop? I'm beginning to understand "Amazing Thailand", I think

Whats with the 'at darkness' stuff. Would it be different if it happened in the daytime?
Yes.
In Thai law, if a crime is committed 'during the hours of darkness', it is deemed worse than if 'during daylight hours', and will be punished accordingly.

Yea, why assume he was depressd? He may have been so happy he just couldn't stand it so he jumped.
So you are positive he jumped on purpose ?
Any note or other evidence ?

What does this emoji supposed to be saying? That you are smug and bored?
No. It makes me think.
Something you probably do not do a lot of.

You do not just assume that somebody 'must have been depressed'.
Scandalous thinking, but T.I.T.

...no mention of any jail time they would be facing.....
...and the Polish name on the credit card didn't raise any suspicions....???
SOTIRIOS, as they have just been arrested, probably not officially charged yet, and have to go through the court procedure, how can
anyone know if, and for how long, they would go to jail ?

So Shawn, if people joke about Scottish people being tight, or Scousers being robbers, is that racism to the PC ?

If you don't like it, go somewhere else, simple, isn't it ?

It will be interesting to see how some members view this !

How could the doctors be so sure that the tot was infected on a plane?
So glad she has recovered. She's got such a lovely smile despite her ordeal.
The article says MAY have contracted the disease during the flight to Thailand.

A woman her age would likely know if she was allergic to peanuts and her husband would have immediately identified her reaction.
Besides that, if you have seen someone with this allergy the response is quite immediate.
Allergies are not all peanut related, and are often not detected until you have a reaction to the particular allergen.
As I said in a previous post, it can happen at any stage in your life.

Has anyone even considered that his wife might have a job, and gone to work ?
All this speculation is pathetic, until the facts are out, but, here on TV, we know there will be no follow up.
