The difficult part will be getting the ticket organised as in IDC you will have to rely on someone outside making all the arrangements for you. No phones allowed etc.
Don't know how helpful embassies would be etc.
Don't know about the others but the Australian embassy would be no help at all.

I play by the rules, but I still think someone who racks up a twenty year overstay should get some sort of lifetime achievement award.
It's peanuts like this that are the cause of the harassment that we who abide by the rules have to put up with.

Rightly or wrongly perhaps the Thai parents are allowed a little scope on when they think their offspring are capable of riding a motorsi to school. I guess the parents can calculate the risk. No doubt some will insist their children use less personal transport if available.
My daughter (15) has traveled to school in our rural area on her own motorsi for over a year now. I consider it good practice with only one busy road to cross right alongside the school. She drives confidently and carefully.
Soon she changes school and goes into a busy town some 10 klms away. My wife will not allow daily travel and my daughter will board with a friend near to school. Not sure if she will take the motorsi and use it in the town, probably will, but at least I know she has driven for a while and will be much better equipped to handle the bike than a new learner starting out.
I do agree training and education would be beneficial and certainly the enforcement of the compulsory helmet law. Surely the place for this is right outside the school, catch them young make wearing a helmet habit.

I have to agree with your comments above. They tried this out the front of our local school by not allowing them to enter the school grounds until they went home and got a helmet. Went very well after a couple of days so they stopped the exercise. Wouldn't take much to work out what happened then.

I am not offering a personal opinion...All of my post on this subject are just repeating what the Centrelink's web site tells me. Most of it I know is correct because I am just writing from my own personal experience as well. If you read the above link it tells you in plain English that the asset threshold for a single ages pensioner who does not own a house is $456,750 less if you own a house. Perhaps the $156,000 figure is to do with "Job Start" or something like that. Under retirement age things are different. Over retirement age thresholds, deeming, tax matters all change, all a different kettle of fish. I've been down that road a dozen times already and still the challenge continues with monotonous regularity.
The main problem on this site is that it seems a whole lot of people are living in fairy land. Many are along way off getting the Aged Pension and seem to be wishing for certain outcomes "one day" Just read read some of the links to Centrelink I have put up. Stop being lazy and get on with it, it is a long process...WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS READ THE INSTRUCTIONS" I SAY. What I write about is what is contained in Centrelinks current documents. They are not my opinions.
The link you have quoted is from AMP not Centerlink. We have recently been made aware of their short comings as far as the truth goes in relation to customer service.

What on earth are you trying to achieve here. I have followed this thread for some time now and all I see is you knocking anybody whose opinion differs from yours.

Don't you feel really confident when you hear comments such as this.

I don't know if this has been posted before but it is definitely worth a read for the knowledge in it.

Aussies are British aren't they? or were once we'd emptied our jails (just kidding)
Anyway carrying that thing in ones car is inexcusable and dumb and he's about to pay the price Mr. Jai Ron
You're right but he was traveling on a British passport although he claimed to live in Australia for some time.

I have no sympathy for this "British" guy. If he speaks with an Aussie accent he must have lived there for a long time. I think there may be more to this story. He was in the wrong. Gives the law abiding British a bad name. He should lose his right to live here for his stupid behaviour.
Agree with all you say and wonder if all those Aussie bashers will offer sincerest apologies for opening their trap so wide.

What a great law for Thailand and the mafia, I mean police. They can't wait to extort money from the tourists that come and fly them without knowing this law in 90 days.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse, if you are visiting a country it is up to you to make yourself aware of any law that might exist regarding drones.
I know that Australia has laws on drones and don't doubt other countries are the same.

Our three were planted with cow manure in the bottom of the hole and then some soil on top of that then soil mix with the young tree planted amongst that.
Then at the start of each wet season given a hand full of a privately made granulated fertilizer made from cow manure and possibly other things. I'm sorry I can't tell you the name of it because I just don't know. We ordered 7 bags of it that came in second hand bags. I imagine this would be classed as an organic slow release fertilizer like drtreelove suggests above. I will ask the wife if she can find out where it is made if anyone is interested.
The only other thing I can do is take a photo of some to show you what it looks like but probably not much value in that.

Under ideal conditions (not forced) you may get some flowers. We have three plants that were planted in the ground 3 years ago that have always looked healthy but haven't flowered until now with two of them having a mass of flowers the 3rd one not so many.

Looks like something has been feasting on it and it appears to have a bit of leaf curl which could be caused by another bug.
Have a look on the underside of a few leaves to see if you can see a grub of some sort.

How can so many people view the same two videos and come to widely differing opinions on which driver is to blame for the outcome. If you have another look at the front on video you should noticed that when the pickup was between the taxi and the other vehicle there was room to make it through but there was an obvious move to it's left resulting in it being clipped on it's left rear and we all saw the end result.Maybe the driver misjudged the manoeuvre to move to the left before crossing back to the outside lane.
My advice to all here is to let the law and insurance companies sort this one out rather than the I'm right and you're wrong attitude that has prevailed here.
