  1. Wat Chang Hai Buddhist temple is open 7 days a week, there is nothing to be worries concerning the unrest in the southernmost provinces, cause the road leading to the temple is on major thoroughfare route 409 toward Yala province and is mend by security force road block along the way. I just visited this temple and Pattani town last weekend, and it seem that businesses open as usual and tourist still flocked to Wat Chang Hai.

Here is the temple website: http://watchanghai.weebly.com/

  2. I have downloaded the 5 Ashampoo gift software and yet it isn't free unless register with activation key. I will hold another 9 days before the trial period expire and see what come next. Gift doesn't mean free therefore be aware this marketing gimmick. :annoyed:

Thanks for showcasing your mental capacities here, lol :D Ever had a full version software that's did not require being activated with an unlock key ?

Try again bro, enter your email address, confirm your mail and there it is: the serial key to unlock your software, one by one. You just saved more then $200 !

Perhaps it needs some explanation, after downloading the software, a website opens where you need to enter your email address, maybe you clicked that one away without checking it, but is is required to activate the software. If you did so there's nothing lost, just open the program and via 'internet' in the menu choose 'activate' then you see 'obtain your free full-version code'

    Cheers ;-)

    Bangkokcitylimits,

I have try what you mentions, and yet after pressing several times on Get Free Full Version License Key, there aren't a word or number bringing provided. I have to give out and uninstall this bullshit that is wasting my time.

Well I'm sorry to hear this, shared this also with several friends and they like the software and not heard of any problems getting the full license key. Are you using Hotmail/MSN/Live ? I have bad experience with this mail provider, sometimes mail (from a company) just does not pass trough not even via the spam folder. never use them for registrations of any kind.

Only solution I can think of is, if this software may be useful to you, uninstall it (by using this tool, no leftover files) and try again, and this time don't miss the registration webpage. I think it's really worth the hassle, great proggies.

    take care.

    Bangkokcitylimits,

I have completely uninstalled these shits Ashampoo software that mislead people to believes they are giving free software, but the fact they are indirectly marketing their products, beside I believed I'm not the only one that this Ashamepoo software company have taken me for ride but too also collecting download traffic to see how popular is their Ashamepoo products. Lesson learns and will never touch.

  4. Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome, it's my pleasure ;) This is real good software and I downloaded few too, it's a pity I don't need them all, lol.

The Burning Studio 2010 is far best burner I ever had, copies a DVD in few minutes, no complexities and errors like Nero etc.

Did you see at the bottom of the confirmation mail they offer few more full versions for free ?

Oh, another good one: IObit Advanced SystemCare PRO for free, this is a temporary offer from IObit themselves (normally $19,95) As they have 70.000 downloads a day they can afford this !

Just register to this website. You get a one year license that you can activate whenever you want. Just keep the key and the login details as you need this when activating. Also nice gift for a friend or mother in law, everybody should have this installed.

    Have a good weekend.

  7. Now they have lots of time to sit in their cell and remember that Thailand is not their Country and they are just a guest.

He asks for it and that served him well for violating this country law and orders, therefore he shouldn’t cry foul on the Hilton facilities provided by the host country. In facts he should thanks god that he's still alive and waiting to be charge and deported back to Aussie.

  8. The yellows seize the airport which is a state property and by law, is a terrorism act. Most countries call them militants. Only Thailand seemed proud to declare them terrorist when most countries will not.

Let weighs the damages bring done between yellows and reds.

Yellows - The costs of closing down the airport that create inconvenience for foreign guests.

Reds - The costs of burning down dozens of building and looting ATM machine, not to mentions shutting down pattaya Asean meeting last year and sending foreign VIP fleeing.

  9. I think comparing Abhisit to Lincoln is a bit of a stretch.

To say the least. The man doesn't even have the power to make the bad decisions he's been credited with. He is more a joke than a leader.

Put yourself in his shoe and what will you do to solves and contains this chaotic situations. Care to comment?

  10. UPDATE:

CRES Imposes Curfew In Bangkok, many provinces

The Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES) has announced curfew in Bangkok and nearby cities and provinces in the North and Northeast earlier placed under emergency law.

People in areas under curfew are not allowed to leave their homes from 8pm to 6am, with immediate effect.

State authorities are allowed to perform their duties in the restricted areas to restore peace and order.

The curfew order was signed by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva late this afternoon.

    -- Source: Bangkok Post 2010-05-19

any more details on the curfew, where and what cannot ( other than in the street ) ?

I don't understand much about the Thai curfew, same as the western one ?

Be cools and have a glass of beer, get your rations before all shops are closed at 8pm :)

Let me make it real clear since you're rather slow to catch on to things here....It means: Stay the <deleted> OFF THE STREETS!

  11. anyone from Chiang Mai? I'm watching reports from Chiang Mai Mail on the Facebook The reds blocked Nawarot Bridge, burning tires, buildings on fire, banks are being robbed... Lots of helicopters in the air - that's all i can see.. (sorry for off topic, someone should create a topic for the news from the provinces - i can see that there is a lot of this suff happening)

Yes, you are correct, they are burning tyres on the bridge, they are also burning a bank on Thapae, beats burning rice stuble I suppose.

Most of these building are made of block and concrete. How do you burn concrete?

By using petrols poured over the rubber tire like what you see on the streets.

  12. Abhisit is delusional, and on very thin ice. In his unabating preaching about restoring the rule of law, he has forgotten all about the rules of international law. You don't indiscriminately fire live ammo at unarmed civilians, and you don't declare city streets that are still inhabited by ciivilians as free fire zones.

Unless Abhisit realises the error of his ways, and sits down to talk serious compromise, he could end up joining the ranks of war criminals lined up for trial at the Hague.

Exactly Clockwork - "live fire zones" in residential areas against a vast majority (99%) of unarmed protestors is a no no in international law. The Thai military have already been warned about using this term but they continued. Abhisit will be going to the Hague along with his deputy and commander. I know many human rights lawyers already making preparations.

By putting up sign that say " Live Fire Zone " it means the government are using Psychological warfare tactics to frighten protesters from getting near the soldiers bunker.

  13. Much of this could have been avoided if there had been a designated protest site - a large field with basic facilities outside downtown Bangkok. That's what the Cambodians just arranged - for future protests in their country. Granted, it's easier said than done, but if the initial protesters had been funneled to a large field somewhere, then things would not have gotten so far out of hand.

Plus, recent reports of freezing accounts of many big businesses and big shot Thais associated with Thaksin and the Reds is BIG NEWS. You can bet there are a lot of big shots close to the Shinawats, who are cussing and shouting and banging furniture against walls.

They should be announcing over loud speakers that all the red's bank accounts have been frozen and a 100,000 baht payout is not going to happen. We are now entering the most dangerous stage where all Thaksin has left is any connections he has within the army to try and overthrow the current army command.

Isn't the original place the reds set up designated as a protest site. near gov't house?

Moving to commercial areas with high buildings is much safer for the RED to plays hide and seek.

  14. Immigration office at Chaengwattana is finally open. I have to go asap. Is the expressway safe?

Can someone confirm if immigration office at Chaenwattana is actually open? I have to go there and no-one is answering the phones, although the line was engaged earlier. Cheers!

The government has announced that all government departments or statutory board closed for the next three day.

  15. Let me say first that what I want to point with this post is only how the international media report the situation. I attach here 4 screen shots from BBC, Al Jazeera, CNN and Channel News Asia. All of them have the same title more or less: "Thai protesters defy evacuation deadline". The important think is the photos that are using for this articles. There is no photo of violence, 2 of them have kids, one is showing a peaceful group of people and another the dead military leader of the Reds (but not in a violent photo). The one conclusion is that the Thai government has lost for the time being the "media game". And it will need some very convincing arguments to change the mindset of the media. Is it important? No for the situation in Thailand but it is important for the credibility of the government at the international level. Very difficult days in front of Abhisit!

They need advertising revenue to covers their reporters expenditures as well as to roused their reader interests in their media coverage. True or false doesn't matter as long as their paper are selling like hotcakes.

  16. Reds Attempt to Blow up Gas Tanker

Red-shirt protesters have driven and parked a gas tanker in front of the PTT petrol station in Ngarm Duplee.

They've also fired several M79 into the petrol station in an attempt to start a wide-scale explosion.

These are peaceful protestors wanting the UN to come in to negotiate a ceasefire. :)

But their chief paymaster does says UN isn't his father AND now he is requesting the UN to intervene on this whole mesh he has creates.

  17. Latest development, Rama 4 Tesco Lotus is set fired by Red protesters that thought there is army hiding inside the building.

Naaa, they probably ran out of red bull

they also have been looting 7/11's and other shops, broken into banks ... it's party time for Thailand's criminals ... until tomorrow afternoon anyway and than its time to pay the piper

Just to clarify, is this the Tesco lotus situated across Carrefoure near the Gluay Nam Tai intersection?

Bump. Anyone with any knowledge about the validity of this event would be very helpful.

According to live radio report, it just mentions Rama 4 Tesco but didn't say the actual location.
