Well now, three of my friends who have had difficulty over the past month, with one being refused entry and having to leave on the next flight, will be pleased that this is all fake. Thank you Thai Immigration for putting the record straight.

A very sad day for Thailand and what is laughably and euphemistically called Thai democracy. But, entirely predictable. The people at the top have not a care in the world for Thai people or Thailand.

I have heard from a very reliable source in Sukhothai that research has shown that if shops sell alcohol between 2pm and 5pm the solar ice-caps will melt, dinosaurs will roam northern Thailand and the sky will fall in. So best to be safe and avoid such catastrophe.

Where does the word "potentially" fit? If plod can shake down anyone for a bribe he absolutely will, there is no "potentially" about it.
