Honestly, Bangkok is still better than KL. I went in KL last year and I find it kinda boring. Another thing is that people in Thailand are more approachable than those in KL. When it comes to accommodations you will notice that Bangkok is a lot cheaper compare in KL.

Don't mind her dressing that way. Are you that too conservative? I wouldn't mind at all unless I saw her wearing that clothes and she's heading to the temple that's the time I worry. 

Surely, those zig zag lines caught motorists attention. It is only a traffic calming device to the motorists to alert them that a particular street is getting narrow and they need to somewhat slow down to avoid any accidents on the road. 

Why not go to endocrinologist? With the symptoms you are experiencing now you should be thinking to go to a doctor so he can recommend you to undergo some series of blood test. Maybe your sugar is too high or could be you have a type 2 diabetes.

What do you mean by normal living? I've so many foreign friends in BKK and they are not well I don't consider them living normal as they are very workaholic. They still love to socialize once in a while but not the type who will go clubbing any time they want. They are also professional people living in Bangkok for quite some time now. 

There is one iphone app for Thai language that I stumbled on before and it is called Learn Thai. I just don't know if it's reliable and have had good reviews. 

You can google some of the pet friendly hotel in hua hin. I think I know like 3 pet friendly hotel namely Ibis Hua Hin, Chon View Hotel and Nern Chalet Beachfront Hotel. Try to visit tripadvisor to see some feedbacks or reviews.

Limit yourself from eating food rich in carbohydrates as in Thailand people love to eat rice and noodles which are loaded in carbohydrates. Also, limit your intake of dessert as well because we do have lots of dessert that are so delicious and eating too much of them can absolutely gain you weight. 

Anyone who wants to travel to Thailand will not have any trouble meeting locals there who speak English but of course not everyone is really good in speaking the English language. In that case, knowing few Thai words and phrases can go places as locals will appreciate you more because of your attempt to learn their language. 

I'm friends with a couple of western men here in Bangkok and I must say that they are happy living in this city. Most of them are married to Thai women and started their life here for good according to them since they love the place and the nice people around them. Although politics here is different and they don't agree a lot in some rules they're still law abiding people and enjoying their life to the fullest.

I don't think I am also fluent in Thai, in fact I'm very terrible when it comes to speaking the Thai language. I would like to really be good at it since I'm currently living in Bangkok. I feel like my life will be a lot easier if I can get along with my Thai colleagues, though they understand me well  using a foreign language I still want to walking down the street and speak the language without hesitation. 

On the other hand, they clearly stated that they are not limiting tourists in any way but it is only to locate foreigners in case they need some help of if some tourists are overstaying. It is to properly assist them.  

What is the reason behind exemptions? Probably this is not workable that is why. Is this applicable to all foreigners in Thailand or only limited to some nationalities?

That was a horrible experienced! If that would happen to me I might consult a lawyer for a possible case. What happened to you and your Thai girlfriend was totally unacceptable. How could they do that kind of insult?! I've been to Bali twice and that never happened to me and my partner. 

There are certain beliefs for those Buddhist Tattoos but I am not actually aware of those as I've read it somewhere a couple of years ago. According to the article I read but forgot the site, the Buddhist Tattoos signify blessings, wealth, and peace. Also it is a representation of their loyalty to their faith. 

If a foreigner wants to apply for a visa O you should secure a copy of documents proving the family relationship like birth certification. You also must secure a copy of household certificate and a copy of id card of the person having Thai nationality which means your mother cannot apply for it. Why not stick to tourist visa alone?
