People on here still advocating for vaccines? Living in a cave with no access to anything going on in the world? Beggars belief!

Everyone agrees the taking of cannabis can cause health problems but so do other “drugs” like tobacco and alcohol so why are they not being classified as a scheduled narcotics ?
Exactly. No consistency whatsoever

Nightmare, I think many of us with a bike have been guilty of nipping the shops without a helmet especially if you've adopted Thainess and will take the bike 350metres rather than just walk, becoming more conscious of it recently with the amount of attention local accidents are getting on social media.
Helmet, long trousers, jacket, boots and gloves no matter how long or short the ride for me.

You couldn't make this up. Unbelieveable stupidity in the face of masses of evidence out there.

The email reminder system failed just recently and caught a few people out, so best not to rely on it.
Yes, I know. It didn't totally fail as I got my email 3 days before the due date. Obviously useless for online submission but at least it gave you a kick to go the IO.

Has anyone tried online reporting. I want to try it for the first time next month and always thought it was 7 days before due date and 7 days after. Can anyone confirm? Thank you
Been doing 90 day online for a year now. Works great and once you are registered in the system you will get a reminder email a couple of weeks before it's due.

^ Cricket 6's coming to Chaing Mai???? But I have yet to ascertain if the bar is open all day.
I have been twice and the bar is open all the time. Small cans!

Depends on which IO. In Chiang Mai it's one day and you also have to get a 12 month statement from your bank. I now live in Chiang Rai where the bank letter is valid for a week and they are happy with just a photocopy of your bank book.

I generally book hotels on Agoda if going on a trip. Will Agoda now have an additional line in the customer details asking if I am farang? ????????

Oddly enough, I have not found any difficulties doing so.
It's really NOT rocket science.
If you can put FF helmet over a surgical mask without it pulling the mask off then your helmet is a lousy fit and next to useless.

So I skimmed through the entire thread and it seems the very low mortality rate is of no interest or significance to any of the posters. Absolutely unbelievable!

Unknown the number that died from accidents at the hospital but one can venture to say that it would be when combined with the dead on scene that it would be less over all then Covid so far.
21k have not died FROM covid!

The Chiangmai DLT recognises it as orange.
Not when I went last year. I did the test politely said "see som" when the middle light lit up and she looked at me like I was mad and said try again. Eventually tried yellow saying I didn't know the Thai for yellow. I now know it's see luang. All done in good humour and was never a problem.

Anti vaxxers, are you listening?
Why do people write this bilge. This is NOT a vaccine! I have had many vaccines in my life and my kids all had the recommended vaccines when they were scheduled. I wouldn't touch this untested, dangerous, experimental drug with a barge pole.

Until that happens there will no return to any type of normal again in this country. Tourist will not return and risk their lives simply because the monied powers that be say so!
When I read stuff like this I wonder how the human race ever came to this. The world has gone totally tonto.

I am British and was taught a million had SIX noughts. So how many in a billion, please? And a trillion too?
Long ago when I was at school a UK billion was a million million but a USA billion was a thousand million. I think the latter is accepted as the norm now.

This comment makes one wonder if the government (USA and others) would take the same steps again if another pandemic were to appear.
I kind of doubt it.
Depends on whether you believe it is governments that are running the planet. Think about it!

I will wait until the proper research and testing has been done before allowing any poison in my body, so maybe about 10 years or so.

To renew from a 2 year temp licence to a 5 year licence the process is the same.
You still have to the ‘class room colour vision, reaction and proximity tests and watch the video).
Not in Chiang Mai. I did this change last year and all I had to do was submit forms and passport copies together with 2 year expiring license. The only test I did was colour recognition and no video was involved. I took sandwiches expecting to be there all day but the whole process took just over an hour.
