  1. My friend in Bangkok gave me two Siamese cats and now I'm taking care of them in my apartment. I want to take them with me to Indonesia, my hometown, when I finish study.

Is that okay someone bringing out Siamese cats outside Thailand? If so, what procedures I have to take and how much will I pay for the process? Somebody who has experience in bringing cat please tell me. Thanks

  2. Dear Sir,

I am an Indonesian, 32 years old and have been studying at a leading gemological institute in Bangkok, since 28 June 2003 until the graduation day on 28 November, 2003. I have non-immigration visa type ED and its valid until the end of August (90 days).

Now that I need a friend to accompany me during my stay here, my wife and my 3 year-old daughter will come to Bangkok by theirselves. They do already have passport and have got tourism visa from Thai Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia. It must be valid for 60 days only, I think.

Since we don’t have plan to go to another country outside the Kingdom of Thailand and just stay in Bangkok until November, I have some questions :

    1. Can I extend my non-immigrant visa type ED in the Immigration Bureau in Thailand ? If so, what are the requirements do you need?

    2. How long can Immigration Bureau  give me days to stay longer here?

    3. Can I extend my wife’s and my daughter’s tourism visa here, without going out of the country? We do not have plan to go anywhere out of Thailand, either.

    4. Can they give them at least another 3 months stay? Do I need to enclose a recommendation letter from my campus in this case?

    5. Do they need round-trip tickets to enter Thailand from Indonesia?

Thank you for answering my questions.

    Sincerely,
