For big shopping I have a car, for small shopping I have a pcx, for my gf I have a cbx500, and for myself a versys 1000. Still wondering how you know I got a small penis?

Like i said... at least u can tell everybody about it. No need for practicality ???? Next time u feel undervalued sitting on a PCX next to a Forza. I promise i  will give u a big accepting at the red light next time. You may even use some of my luggage space if u plan to buy more than a six pack of Lager ????

Cars are indeed useless for downtown BKK during rush hour... only use mine for out of town trips mostly

Get a real bike for that purpose, not a small scoot for touring, because of small wallet.

Sure, let me get an old 1000cc Big Bike for my small penis syndrome to ride those beautiful flat highways and perfectly even roads and twists in Thailand. And to sum it up i buy a pcx, which is way more suitable for shopping with the half luggage space of a Forza and seat comfort for a 7 11 Beer trip. But at least i can tell the Bargirls about it... welcome to ur life bro ????

Jokes aside... Forza is highly capable for the city, especially shopping with the huge luggage space and for its size quite thin to squeeze through traffic (with the necessary driving ability ;)). And for outside of the city tours perfectly suitable... my 2 cents, perfect for thailand

Almost exactly equals the extra 133 pounds ????????

ai do like the pcx... rode it for years 2016 and 2017 models. But in terms of power and comfort/ability to drive longer. its a different animal. Definitely dont wanna switch back to pcx for now

Big and useless for city and shopping! Pcx is small and smooth,

but everyone have to make their own decission what the need, and for what purpose.

However, when meeting a forza driver with my Pcx is totalt different than when meeting them with my 1000 ????

They useally have a tendency to look down on small scooters,

And Forza’s have the tendency to give PCX Drivers the small scoot syndrome; Making up reasons for their insufficient wallet to get the big boy scoot ???? But true... if u only tingle around to get some “lao khao” at 7 11. Wave or PCX totally fine... ride on. Luggage space, power, comfort for two, touring ability...

The electric motor never takes over completely. The engine is running all the time when driving (driving with the electric motor alone is not possible).

The electric motor assists a little bit when accelerating, but this is limited to something like 5 seconds at a time.

So how often do you accelerate giving full throttle? If the answer is "often", then you might enjoy the hybrid (or maybe not, it's a small boost, so maybe you think it's not worth it). If the answer is "nearly never", then you might complain about having wasted the money.

Here is a comparison (at 13:14):

This comparison is ridiculous... first of all the other PCX is the old model, which is slower than the all new PCX anyway. On top of that is it packed with numerous accessories and even the rider has some more "grip" around the belly it seems to me.... :D

A buddy of mine lived in Thailand for nearly 15 years on this visa. And he was a legitimate, award-winning journalist.

He was denied for a renewal about three years ago, as he was not full-time with a registered news agency. He's in France now.

Freelancer? Forget it. Unless the envelope is thick enough.

Confusing part is, that the MFA quotes specifically "Freelancers" in their Clarification from 2016.

Seems like its not worth the paper it is written on, looking at the denial of your friend.

Why do you want a visa for "freelance" work other than live here. I'm less of expert than Simon above post.

However just think about it. I want come live Thailand as freelance Poet. That must be easy?

I know what you mean, but it requires extensive research work on site, not just in front of the computer. Hence i wanted to check what would be the most legit way to get a media card.

  8. Hi,

I'm a Freelance Journalist planing to move to Thailand.

According to new guidelines it seems quite tricky to get a "M" Visa without "fulltime employment".

Anybody got some firsthand experience about getting that type of Visa? Or would you recommend a different Visa type instead?

Especially confuses me that the rules demand a "full time employment", which excludes freelancers. However on a Clarification Release the Ministry of foreign Affairs stated that they will issue media card to "Freelancers that require media card to work for news agency"

    Thanks for the replies!

  9. Hello, i have a question regarding the bordercrossing at mae sai/tachilek. i got a 14 days thai visa and planed to cross the border to myanmar and spend a couple of days in kengtung. But since ive read all these comments about these visa problems im not sure if ill do it. do i get a 14 days visa for myanmar at the border that is valid for kengtung? (Without having to book a guide for 1000baht a day). Can i return to thailand after 3-4 days and getting a 14 days visa again?

    Thanks for help
