I constantly get over 600KB/S on my True 8MB connection when it comes to downloads. Torrents (public and private), Multithreaded downloads, etc. Youtube streaming and otherthings, not so fast, but well.

Got to put in word for Jass Fashions, down on Sukhumvit Street (between Soi 27 and 29), main road.
-
I just drove back home along the Sukhumvit road. From NANA to ASOKE, there is ZERO traffic.
-
The sirens are gone now.
-
Is there another fire occurring somewhere right this moment? I've been hearing sirens for the past 10 minutes on Sukhumvit-Asoke area.

I saw it and even took a few crappy pictures of it. Very cute looking indeed!
The two stars are Jupiter and Venus from what I've been reading the past few days.

That mms nbt link is just broadcasting recorded stuff. Anyone know whats currently going on?
-
About time too...
Indeed, that too!

Just noticed this: http://www.truemove.com/iphone/
I'll definitely not get one now that it's coming with True. They're coverage sucks and they barely have EDGE presence in the city. Also, let's not get into how much their service blows.

Avira actually has the highest rating in protection at AV-Comparatives. Even higher than NOD32.

Are there any English speaking PS3 communities/forum in Thailand that anyone knows of? I just bought a PS3 and most of the online Thai PS3 forums are in Thai which I can read, but can't type, so that makes for a difficult time to communicate.
If anyone here is up to the likes of playing online, sharing games, etc, let me know.
Rawnie, you can add me, my psn is : Thaicowman.
Thanks, I've added you.

I've never tried iStudio, but what I CAN tell you is to avoid UFiCon at all costs. To be honest I'm not sure if iStudio is indeed a part of UFiCon, but they are a mac distributor in Bangkok, and I've dealt with them on 2 occasions, both of which I had to face less than courteous staff and not very good customer service or help.

Read about this yesterday. Isn't this still just a command line tool? I'll wait for the GUI. Have you tested this yourself? What are the results you ind with your ISP?
There is another tool for doing this stuff on the torrentfreaks site, but it required Java and I didn't bother.

GMail is definitely the way to go. It's faster than the competition, mails load up quick, minimal page refreshes, the best spam filter around (you wouldn't believe the amount of spam i keep getting on Hotmail TO THIS DAY!!) and a very efficient and clean user interface. It also provides more features than any of the rest, without being annoying or getting a single bit in your face. Free POP3 and IMAP service, need I say more? It certainly is a no frills email service. Hotmail has gone down the drain, along with most of it's Windows Live counterparts. Microsoft tries, but never quite gets it unfortunately.

Very interested project, niller74!
What I want to know is does Load Balancing also mean combining the speeds of multiple WAN connections and acheiving a higher speed? IE. If I have two 2.5Mbps/512Kbps connections from True, I'll end up with a single connection that's 5Mbps/1Mbps?
But isn't this actually called Connection Bonding? I see people are refering to that as Load Balancing, which is actually different. Load-Balancing is for redundancy, while Connection Bonding is for performance.
So my question to you, niller74, is whether what you're working on supports Connection Bonding? Or do you know of a way to do connection bonding?

Can you guys play online fine with a modded Xbox360? And how about games? Can you play online with the Games you buy from MBK?
I keep hearing that the iXtreme firmware in the xbox360 allows you to play backups online.

There's a new place dedicated to Salsa (don't know if this is specifically what you want...?) dance classes by a friend of mine, it's called Salsa Hacha and it's located in Silom Soi 6. The local instructor also instructs at La Rueda, from what I know.
They have a site here: http://www.salsahacha.com/

Not really a club or a place, but you might like our Gothic events in that we organize here, where we feature quite a bit of Industrial music and a lot of stuff you might enjoy very much. http://www.darkasia.com is our site and we normally have events every once a while (bi-monthly usually) @ the Jazzit, RCA.
Ps. And Korn is my most favourite band too! Checked out their latest Untitled album yet? Not the best, but it's surely growning on me pretty quickly.

As some of your might remember, it's been a long while since we had the last event, but it was definitely worth the wait! Come and join us with something different and dark from the rest of the city!

Oh ofcourse not! I never said the DS is boring. Eventhough I have both the PSP and the DS, I'm a bigger DS advocate myself. The games on it are far more innovative and fun to play. I recently completed the new Super Mario Bros, and waiting for some new games.
The DS is great, but it seems as if people in Thailand just dont know much about the DS at all, people seem clueless about it, the PSP is simply more famou and if someone is looking to buy a handheld here, their probably more likely to go for the PSP, simply because the DS is quite low profile here I believe.
It would be great if we could build a network of DS users here in Bangok or Thailand atleast, so we can play wifi games together.
-
I dont mind..i have a few games for the DS, but it sucks that barely anyonein Thailand has a DS...so boring.
-
Gothic and Bangkok just don't go together.
After living here for all of my life, I tend to believe anything is possible in this city
-
It's now that time of change again..something different from the saturated local hiphop culture. It was nice to see a few from Thaivisa last time! Everyone's welcome!
