No they don't. Departure immigration only checks that you have not overstayed.
Many people take the report slip out of their passport since it is irrelevant after you leave the country. Wise to keep it though as proof you did the previous report before leaving the country.
Thanks i will do the report again even though its due only 6 days before i leave Thailand on a holiday
A lot better than finding out i have to apply for another retirement visa because i did not do the 90 day report when due
-
I am returning to Australia for one week on the 22/10/2017, my 90 day report is due on the 16/10/2017
Will i still be required to do the report or can i leave without doing one and not have to do another retirement visa extension

Just make sure you have more money than the minimum amount required by 5% and you will not have a problem

For a retirement visa based on income - a letter from the Brit. Embassy (for Brits) confirming income in sterling is required, which is then converted into bht by Immigration.
Hence my query as the 'spread' is so large.
It would have to be the buying rate from banks which you receive when exchanging any currency
Selling rate is the banks markup/profit on a conversion of currency selling transaction

I do not think they use a conversion rate, funds have to be in Thai Baht for your retirement visa extension not any other foreign currency

Very true and for those who do take their brides back 'home', they find that Thai gals export much better than some other nationalities.
Brazilian women come to mind most specifically. You won't find many of them north of the Mason-Dixon Line in the States.
My wife has no interest in living overseas, if she wanted to we would/could
That's fine with me i love living in Thailand with my Thai wife and her direct family (son and grandchildren)

Plenty of really nice, honest Thai ladies but do not expect to meet them in a bar or massage parlour in the majority of times
They make excellent partners and are very loyal, fool around at your own peril if they are not bar ladies, Show the same respect to them as you expect yourself and you will have a long and happy relationship
If you are a heavy drinker stick to bar girls who do not care how much you drink

Seems to be a recurring theme. Particularly annoying for those running restaurants/bars with menus relying on consistency from Makro.
When I first came here 4 years ago, bought the large, clear plastic container of grated/dry Parmesan cheese at Makro for 285 Baht - think the brand is Schafer, something like that. Then it was gone for 4 or 5 months, returned briefly at 295. Gone then back at 310. Hit or miss now but last time I paid attention, it was 320 or 325 Baht.
Called inflation depends on where it comes from and the exchange rate at the time of purchase

You stop breathing and your body becomes rigid, then they burn or bury it, end of story
If you do not have a quick unexpected death, transfer everything into your wife/partners name including the majority of money in bank accounts, just leave enough to see yourself out

Ok good how long ago did you do that in Australia because two years ago it took me 14 days to get mine, hop it has changed as you say it has .
8 years ago, at Murdoch police station in WA

Everything takes forever and a day here
I needed a police clearance from Australia for a volunteer job in Thailand
I went to my local police station paid the required fee and walked out with my police criminal clearance 10 minutes later, they just put your details into their computer and it does a Australia wide check for any criminal record in your name on the spot

You need to change your bank, 36 hours max from my UK bank to Kbank, been like that for years.
2 transfers of 250K aud in 2 years one to scb and one to bb both held by banks for 7 days
Previous smaller amounts 50K aud transferred were not held up
-
If your son has a Thai bank account you can do a direct transfer from your bank to his Thai bank account. it should be in his bank account the same day but Thai banks regularly hold up payment here for 7 days

Stored a mates car for months a long time ago with a quality cover on in, expensive anyway
When he took the cover of the car it was covered in dust and crap and the paint was scratched, there was a lot of wind where i lived
I would not store a car under a cover ever again, just give it a wash when necessary
