Anyone know where the best place to get some business cards and some large Word files printed off? Not sure what I sould be paying so if you have some info on that as well that would be great!

I am looking for a place to stay and my research tells me that the Mandarin is a great place for the money. I want to stay in the area and close to BTS/MTS. If any onther suggestions please let me know. Are the pools at the hotels and monthly rental condo's cooled at all? Or are the the same temp. as the environment?

I am moving to BKK from Canada and am wonder what the best way to keep money is? I found out that the bank machine will charge me 5$ per withdrawal from my Canadian bank account....too much for this dude. Should I just open an account or bring travelers checks. Other suggestions?

Hello Everyone,

My girlfriend is coming with me as I study at the gem school in BBK. She plans on teaching English and has these qualifications: 30 years old, professional demeanor, currently a corporate trainer/teacher with a major corporation in N. America, University degree in Business, and will have a teaching English cert of some kind...Tesol or something... 60 hours course. How would these qualifications benefit her in her search for employment? What type of money and job should she be looking for?

I am looking for anyone who has or is going to the gem school. If someone is out there please let me know. I will be attending starting sept. 06 and need some direction on where is best to live if we are paying 20,000 -30,000 per month. We want an apartment with a fitness and swimming pool in a fairly easy area to get around from.

I would like to hear from anyone who has any advise on living in BKK.

I am Canadian and am thinking about going to Bangkok to studies at the Asian Gem Institute. My wife will be coming with me and she will be teaching English. The question I have is can I also work there teaching English while I am going to school? The Gem school will arrange for my visa but what would I need to do both?
