Cool video, I was there too last month on Thai Mother's day. We spent a night at Sam Roi Yot and then drove to Prachuapkirihun, the provice center. Although it's a province center, but it's super tiny city surrounded by a quiet beach where local fishermen moor their boats. Highly recommended to everyone.

Nice Resort! Have you slept in a tent in Pru Rue? I had an amazing time - I went there last year in the off-season. My tent was literally the only one there. It was so serene and special to wake up with the first light of the day.

It depends on when you ride.. I got 375THB Uber X from Suvarnabhumi on Monday night, tolls included.

hahaha actually it's been a trend for several years. "Baby in car" might mean that the driver himself/herself might drive slower than others because there's a "baby in car".

If you have a Thai friend, try posting on http://www.taladrod.com/w30/Home/. It's a biggest online car market place in Thailand.

First, in case of they asked you to wait 6 months is normal if your car is imported car, or kinda old one so the supplier needs time to get spare parts. But if he asked for extra cash 8,000 THB then he is cheating you! What you have to do is report OIC (Office of Insurance Commission). OIC will investigate the insurance company and the company will investigate your insurance sales who tried to charge you 8k.

Don't worry - as far as I understand from Thai sources (+ http://news.thaipbs.or.th/content/254823) and ( http://newdavich.in.th/2015/08/renew-drivinglicense5year/#.V-tOv5N940Q) renewing won't take 15hrs of class time. 15hrs counts for new licenses only. To renew, you just need to prepare money and required documents.

Sure, if you get a good deal and good price, then it makes sense. The next motor show is on 1-12 December 2016. Try to find information of cars you want to buy berfore the expo, so that in the expo you can decide easier.
