This is a police cover up again. They continue to ruin this country with their corruption and lawlessness. They offer Thais and foreigners, with their families, unbelievable hardship. This sickness needs to be eradicated.

Honest, reasonable and a real lawyer in Hua Hin. Some are not! (honest, reasonable or real lawyers)

Some cops pay to get their job. They have no qualifications excecpt extortion ideas. It's the people who hire them that should be arrested.

I know of some "honest Thai police", who raided a restaurant in Isan. They fabricated a story of a waitress selling sex (at a restaurant) and then asked the boss for 150,000 baht to make it go away. When the boss said no, these honest police arrested the boss, waitresses and the cashier. A court date has been set and these poor souls have to suffer because of this sham. It's unbelievable what these cops do to this country. They are the problem.

Yes, thank you for your heads up on corruption reporting. I think it is a great idea to listen to the people who have elected this government.
Well anyway.....Corruption is like a cancer. If not treated it will kill you and if it doesn`t kill you then you may wish it did. Corruption in this country kills honest hard working Thais, (or puts them in jail). If not treated then you don`t have much to govern. So I commend you for seeing the need to stop this cancer.
I have a problem with a number of police officers that I would like to bring to your attention. I imagine they are employed by your government so this may be a good opportunity, and a heads up, on what is going down around Thailand. (only a little humor intended)
Do you have any idea what these dishonest law enforcement so called police, do to this country. I am a farang so possibly I cannot lodge a complaint but I think you will be interested to hear this story.
Please give us details on where I may send this information. Or just stay tuned and the story will unfold in due course.

Possibly blowing the whistle, before the railway crossing, like normal trains all over the world do, might help (a little). Obviously a small toot doesn't cut it!

I have driven through many cities in Thailand. I live in Hua Hin and I think it has the very worst road up keep than anywhere else I have been in this country. Take a drive up Soi 88 to the new Court House and beyond for example. I drive a truck.

No one was paid so arrests were made. Sounds familiar.

A Commercial Driving License with an Air Brake Ticket might help!

The only thing perfect here is the police corruption. They fabricate what they want and if there is no payment, everyone goes to court. They send inocent people to jail and ruin peoples lives and their families.

Hi, just returned form Thailand and having trouble sending a text message from Canada. Tried several different ways, but doesn't seem to work. (+66,drop "0" and number) or (01166 and number) The message seems to get sent but not received! Any suggestions, thanks.
00166 and the number works for me from Fido, Rogers, Bell, or Telus.
Can you recieve pm's from Thailand? Where are you, and what's your provider?
cv
Thank you everyone for all the replies. I'll try them and let you know what worked. I can receive from Thailand no problem. I'm in British Columbia and my provider is Rogers. I haven't tried 001 yet so will do it and see, thanks again....
