The main issue at hand is that Thai Airways as mentioned previously has almost every type of aircraft from both Airbus and Boeing, ranging from A320’s & B737 to A380’s and 747’s.
When looking at competing airlines, especially those in the Middle East, you will note that much of their fleets are standardised and do not operate more aircraft types than necessary.
The fact that Thai Airways has over 7 different types of aircraft from both major manufacturers increases the costs concerning both maintenance and training.
Streamlining their fleet would reduce the costs greatly.

I asked the same question a month or so ago. I was told to bring all the documents and photos. However to my surprise none of the above was required. Don Muang now uses the same system as Suvarnabhumi.
After going through immigration, go to the office which is clearly sign posted. They will scan your passport in their system and digitally take your photo. Once completed they will print out the TM form with all your existing data already present.
Didn’t have to fill in anything only sign the TM form at the end of the process. If I’m not mistaken it was 1200 Baht same as at Suvarnabhumi when using the their digital service.
In and out within 5 minutes. Was given a little goodie bag of OTOP products as well at the end of it. Pleasant surprise.

Re-entry permits can easily be obtained at both Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang airports. (If you are travelling by plane and from Bangkok). No documents are required only your passport. Both airports have the new system in place where they scan your passport and the system automatically fills in the TM8 form for you. Pictures are also taken digitally.

Hello All,
I've got a question about the re-entry permit office at Don Muang. I've read reports on here mentioning that you require to have a passport photo with you.
I've done the re-entry permit before at Suvarnabhumi where they take the picture for you for 200 baht extra.
My question is do they use this system as well at Don Muang? Will I be able to just turn up to the office and have them print the TM8 and take the picture there as it is at Suvarnabhumi?
Thanks for the help!

Having just come back from a Visa trip to the HK consulate, I can assure you it is very easy and straight forward. Once you arrive at the consulate, you get your form from the desk they will help you if needed. After the from is completed, get a number from the ticket machine and wait in line. The passport should be ready for pick up by the time the consulate opens the next day. Collected mine by 9:30.

Hello,
was as wondering if any one had experience with the Thai Consulate in Hong Kong in getting a single entry Non-Imm B visa?
how long does it take? Can I bring my passport one day and collect the next? How smooth is the process?
any info on doing this would be greatly appreciated. Hoping to make the trip this week.
Many thanks in advance.

Having gone through Private school education in Thailand myself, the school does provide a visa for each child and will assist in any visa matters (mine did) all documents, all was provided and had no problems for the 90 day checks. Not sure about parent visas as mine were on work permits we never had any issues concerning this. (Feel free to PM for details)

Generally, Thailand Elite will provide you a 5 year visa( or 10 or 20, depending on the package) and if you choose the family package they can provide your family a visa too. They will also assist you with issues such as work permit. I currently use them for visa and have had no problems with them. ( drivers licence, permits and 90 day reports)

First post here but have been living here long enough to know.
Have you considered Thailand Elite? It may be on the expensive side but does work.
Getting my hands on a UK pension from Thailand.
