I went to a government hospital, waited for a couple hours to be seen, the "doctor" was an intern with the word "Veterinarian"on his scrubs. I didn't ask. I also didn't return for the x-ray or blood-test results.  

If it's a 100k a month, then that's 3300 a day. Divide that 3300 by the number of operating hours (10 am to 9 pm) 11, and that's 300 baht per hour. I would just go to management and offer them a cool 400 baht (b/c I roll like that), and tell them to keep the freon flowing

Note to self: If I get on a bus and notice a preponderance of Chinese tourists on the bus, then get off the bus.

Fair point. I wonder how the mall stores, especially Robinson's, stay open. Any ideas? They're well-staffed and empty. Is the government subsidizing them to make Thailand's smaller cities seem modern? Without Central Plaza, Udon Thani wouldn't even have a downtown.

People still *shop* at malls? I never see anyone do anything but take pictures of the tags to search the barcode on Lazada.

If I were denied entry at Laos into Thailand on the final 60 days of METV, how would I best get back into Thailand? Would the visa-exempt 30 day be an option on that day, the next day, or only another border? Would there likely be a way back in with that method, or would an education visa still be allowed? I'm wondering if I'm blacklisted at that point for any amount of time due to being rejected entry?

It used to be that when you suicide by train in japan, the family got charged for the clean up.

When re-entering for a two-month extension on METV, do they ever ask for proof/plans of travel out of Thailand? Proof of amount of cash or savings?
