I think lots of expats that are here now who were planning on staying over the festive period will now be booking flights back home for this period. Even those that are married and actually live here. 

What a load of <deleted>. So this Falang and his wife are experts and going to teach everything about a mixed marriage. Never heard so much <deleted> in my life. Ohhh yes its perfectly fine to ask husband for money for family and if he doesnt give it just try and con him out of it. If he finds out you can always run away with your Thai boyfriend.

I live in Khon Kaen and have done this trip many times. To get there and back and running around Pattaya for a few days in a 1.8 Altis cost around 2200 baht. Thats steady driving averaging around 12km/l on cars display graphics.
