Don’t know about HH , but I can vouch for Khao Takiab having them about a month ago. I sat on the sand for about 20 minutes and got mauled. Trouble is , you don’t feel the buggers biting you at the time and I seem to be in a minority that’s is troubled by them.

Seriously , is anybody deluded enough to believe any figures chucked out by this administration ? We’ve had stats for road traffic deaths , mortality rates in the south due to the insurgency , tourist arrival numbers , projected tourism numbers and their likely spend patterns ( when there was such a thing ) etc.

Factor in the lack of a viable testing programme and you’re throwing darts in the dark.

I think the numbers are greatly understated and it’s noticeable they’re on the rise during the cooler season which ties in with patterns around the world.

Is it possible to leave Thailand and return using a re-entry permit after obtaining a one year extension to the non immigrant O visa ?

Anybody out there have recent experience obtaining non O visa based on dependency. I've a young son born in Thailand to a Thai mother but we are not married. If I apply through the embassy in London , I believe it's 90 days maximum. What are my options , if any , of extending my stay ? Also , what documentation is required by London to get this visa ? The information on the website is a bit sketchy for dependency. Appreciate any help.
