Stupid comment! They do have special equipment to detect hidden bodies inside vehicles. The CCTV can track & monitor the criminals back to source. It is very rare that the criminal masterminds do border crossings. Border crossings are done by mules wether their cargo is humans or drugs!

They are working well in schools! You are talking about corruption and not really making sense as what is seen by CCTV is not different amounts written on papers.

CCTV helps against violent crime usually against the most vulnerable. If you are not a criminal you have nothing to worry about! 

Your post is just government bashing claiming CCTV can see corruption which CCTV will have no effect on apart from on the spot fines. CCTV has already proved effective in showing up bad police so give the good parts of government a chance to out more corrupt officials that can be seen by CCTV.

Schools, police check points will all be monitored and will benefit us & our children!

Pro democracy don't make me laugh so much!

Thailand has had democracy & can't deal with it. They can't wait for the genuine political process to take place and the country is so devided whoever is in power the other groups want to throw out before due time.

Yellow v red - red v yellow now pro democracy that are also anti royalty v royalist, whoever take stage next will have violent demonstration against them wether it is immediately or in a couple of years. It won't be peaceful democracy for 4 years, history has proved that.

As for pro democracy all the social media hype blaming police is ridiculous. The public weren't stopped from demonstrating they were stopped from entering certain areas & were forcefully stopped when breaking barriers.

Peaceful pro democracy demonstrations should be the people coming together showing numbers not pushing to shut down industry & other peoples jobs, going to sensitive areas. Show force by numbers without bringing an already ayling economy to a standstill. Hundreds of thousands of people peacefully showing solidarity is far more effective. Gather in parks public areas but let others go about their daily routine that puts food in their familys mouths. Remember you are only part of the population that thinks like you, certainly not more than 50%

Oh dear how sad & paranoid most people are! Do you really think that all CCTV is monitoring you, if you are doing nothing wrong?

CCTV as said by previous posts can't all be monitored all of the time, as for official places most will be monitored.

What CCTV is good for & already working is, school bullying by teachers & students, poor driving (this is something that definitely needs improvement & can be helped by CCTV immediately). 

Other areas it should benefit is illegal drugs, sex trafficking forced backstreet prostitution of minors. Theft, robbery & violent crimes such as the tuk tuk/taxi gang & other gang violence.

If you are not involved in any of the above you have nothing to worry about & are just being over sensitive & playing into the hands of criminals.

CCTV is part of every day life already & has been for some time. The only people it is a problem for is criminals and the people it benefits are the most vulnerable in society!

Get a grip & stop whinging
