  1. A post from 'freedomnow' .... '' I think the smell is great.....is it offensive to you ? So distinct.'' should perhaps read '' distinked '' !!!?
  2. That's a Tuk Tuk not a $uk $uk or a £uk £uk , do you understand Mr and Mrs ? .......... you are not in Russia now.
  3. At least he had a helmet on !
  4. ''its focus on critical areas such as helmet laws and unlicensed driving.'' So if the license was from one of the ''no problem, we take the test for you con-artist scammers'' then that's OK I suppose ?
  5. How have I managed 85 years without a 'bum gun'? What is it for ?, what is it aimed at ? If the motion is properly tapered then there is nothing to shoot at !! Of course, after a nightout enjoying an Indian curry or two then a 'flock of starlings over the chapel roof ' could warrant a thorough hosedown. Secondly , how does someone with a 3xxxl buttock manage to get the 'bb' into position to aquire the target ? We have a 'bb' in each of our bathrooms and I use it to blitz the odd ant or mossie !!
  6. Ask for their passports before they get their kit off !!
  7. Perish the thought of a 12 hour flight sitting next to someone who has just sucked half a packet of fags in the kipper room !! Their clothes stinking of fags... yuck.
  8. So its OK to ride an electric scooter/moped on the roads, no license, no insurance, no helmet and the school kid is 12 years old ? Up in Isaan the police road checks start after the kids are in school and are complete before school out. What size helmet will the 2 year old need sitting on the fuel tank between the rider's arms ?
  9. ''Crackdown'' !! Who writes these headings ?!!
  10. I see a lot of members trying to explain how a helicopter can 'glide' !!! In the event of a total power failure the helicopter is capable of autorotation. Autorotation is a process where it's a crucial emergency procedure in helicopters, allowing for a controlled descent in the event of total power loss. The helicopter's rotor blades spin, generating lift not by engine power but by the upward flow of air through the rotor. Thanks to autorotation on several occasions, I am still here to explain the process !!!
  11. I've had a mousetache for 40 years just to prove that it will grow in the shade !!
  12. So, to fly a 500gr drone around my garden or over my pool will I need a commercial pilots licence ?
  13. Perhaps Thailand should have an agreement like the US........ more money would be coming into the country for expats to spend here. I receive UK state pension of £400 per month which has not increased for 20 years. I have a military pension on which I pay UK tax. I do not trouble the UK NHS, ask for benefits or claim a heating allowance or free bus pass !!... but nice to know that the Immigrants in UK are enjoying their stay that I am helping to pay for. Has anybody seen a copy of the 'Areement' between Thailand and the UK ?
