Why should it be 100 Baht maximum? If you run a properly managed car wash with well trained staff in a central location it's impossible to make a profit by charging that amount of money.

Too often I have been to a car wash and seen staff drops the rag they're cleaning/drying my car with only to pick it up (now full of sand) and continue what they're doing. I don't know about you but I care enough about the condition of the paint to pay another 100-150 Baht for a proper job.

N2  on Pattaya tai is excellent.  I've been going there for years and it's consistent and catering to high end cars as well

Another top notch wash/wax is Glossline on Suk.  Opposite Cockpit bet Patt Tai and Pattaya Klang

Not better than any other car wash but over expensive, this is all what I can say about this one.

The new Quik car wash on sukhumvit at caltext is a lot better, and at least the UK guy knows what he is doing and talking about, unlike 99.99% of the Thai.

  3. Hello,

The border crossing visa is now $35 and I recommend you buy one at the border to save time, NOT an e-visa. Why? Whilst there is an e-visa you can get in advance, it is not only more expensive (about $42) but it actually delays you at the border

The reason is simple. Those who buy a visa spend about 5 minutes in a short queue buying it whilst those with an e-visa do not have to do this, HOWEVER, then all the people are split into two queues for immigration. One queue is for those who purchased a visa and this is usually very short - took us less than 5 minutes to get our fingerprints done etc. Those who have an e-visa go in a separate queue that takes much much longer by virtue of numbers alone. Our friends with an e-visa queued for at least 30 minutes to go through immigration.

    Now you know :-)

Bottom line - it is far quicker and cheaper to buy your visa at the border crossing.
