  1. Just now, ratcatcher said:

I think many guys think the bar fine is to compensate the bar owner for the absence of the girl from the workplace, after all, she's usually receiving a salary of some sort.

The amount given to the woman by the punter, after the deed is done, is sometimes regarded  as a payment for her leaving the premises.

I do realize that. I was just lazy in my typing and a bar fine. What you pay her is to compensate her for her time. The bar fine is to compensate the bar for loosing a drink server/ ashtray cleaner.

  2. Hey...I'm an Ausie and I was in Chum Phae in January 2018 and should be back sometime around Jan 2019. My girl is from just down the road towards Phu Khiao at Ban Nong Din Dam. I have more exploring to do.

  3. The mobile food vendors, those with a push cart or moto-trike, who ply the Soi should be allowed but those with semi permanent  set-ups with chairs and tables blocking the footpath should go. I know of a few who have lock-ups built on the footpath to store their equipment after hours. After all they are street vendors not footpath vendors.
