Will be interested in the answers from hua hin folk.
No statements should be required. Certainly at CW would only require copy of bankbook pages and bank letter etc. You state that this is first extension of you permission of stay. You only need to show 2 months of bankbook prior to day of application.
You have your useless insurance prepared?
This will be my 5th extension of stay but the others were all done at Yasothon where no statements were required but we all know that you will seldom find 2 immigration offices with the same requirements. Have Pacific Cross insurance.

Greetings. I use the 800,000 baht in a fixed deposit account method. The balance has never dipped below 800,000 baht.
How many months worth of bank statements are required at Hua Hin immigration? Thanks for any responses.

The pump inlet should not be less than 2m above the base of the borehole. If the hole has been tested and there are technical details available the pump can be installed just below the water inflow depth. Sediment is seldom a problem in a borehole as the soil acts as a filter, unless there was insufficient casing installed or a section has collapsed.

I used to have the same problem until I purchased a laptop stand with a fan that plugs into any usb port. It seems the laptop charger will not operate when the laptop reaches a certain temperature and only resumes charging when it has cooled down. Never had a problem since.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser it already has a VPN add-on. The basic version is free. Just go to add-ons, select the VPN add-on and follow the installation instructions

Only a OA long stay visa applied for at a embassy in your country requires a medical certificate.
It is not required for any extension of stay at a immigration office. But there are few odd offices that want one when applying for an extension of stay based upon retirement.
Both Yasothon and Amnat Charoen immigration offices require a medical certificate from the local government hospital for extension of stay applications.

I am 62 years old and recently purchased the Pacific Cross Gold Plan (10 million baht cover). I chose the highest deductible of 300 000 baht which virtually halved the annual premium from approx 90 000 baht to approx 45 000 baht. I was previously self insuring so the high deductible is affordable for me.

It is also required at Amnat Charoen. Must be done at a government hospital. Cost last year was 500 THB. It is the standard medical certificate required for the initial non-imm O-A visa. Test for leprosy, elephantiasis, drug addiction, 3rd stage syphilis and TB.

In the past year, I have done 3 reentries at Suvarnabhumi and have never had to wait more than about 20 minutes. Give yourself more time though if you stress easily.

Hi. I will shortly be submitting my first application for an extension of stay based on retirement. (non-imm O-A long stay visa) If anybody has previously done this at Amnat Charoen immigration, I would appreciate answers to the following 3 questions:
1. Do they require a medical certificate?
2. Must bank letter and statements be dated the same day as the application? and
3. How many days prior to expiry of permission to stay will they accept the application?
Thank you for any responses.

Greetings. I will soon be doing my first 90 day report at Amnat Charoen. Bearing in mind the different requirements between immigration offices, could any member who has recently done a 90 day report at Amnat please confirm that my list of documents is complete. I live in Yasothon and would not like to make unnecessary trips.
1. Passport
2. TM47
Signed copies of:
3. Photo and detail page of passport.
4. TM6 departure card
5. Latest entry stamp
6. O-A non imm visa
Many Thanks

Your visa allows unlimited one year entries up to the enter before date on it which appears to be December 21st of this year.
You can get almost 2 years of total stay from your visa by getting a new one year entry just before the enter before date. After that date you will need to get a re-entry permit to keep that last entry valid if you want to travel.
Should the 2nd sentence not read: You can get almost 2 years of total stay by getting a new one year entry just before the "permission to stay until" date? Please confirm. I am unsure.

Greetings. I am now in the second month of a non immigrant O-A visa. My pension is taxed in my home country and the balance transferred to my Bangkok Bank account. I also have a long term investment with them. Do I need to register as a taxpayer in Thailand? Perhaps the question should be directed to the local revenue department and not this platform, however I am certain that one of the older members will know the answer to this. The legal requirement should also be of interest to other new members and prevent any unpleasant encounters with the taxman.

I live in Yasothon which unfortunately does not have an immigration office.

My nearest immigration office is at Amnat Charoen and I have the orange passbook.

Greetings. I have funds invested for 12 months in a fixed deposit account with Bangkok Bank. Being a restricted type of account, will this be acceptable to Immigration when my retirement visa comes up for renewal next year? Many thanks.
