Second year uni student, need a ride for under 300k, as nice as broke can get.
I've been looking on a lot of websites, I have found some options and I'd like some second opinions
- Honda Civic FD (06-12)
- Honda City (08-12)
- Ford Fiesta (09-2011)
- Nissan Almera (10-present)
- Mazda 2 (2010-11)
I'm leaning towards the civic, would love some opinions or other car recommendations from people who knows about cars than me. (probably everyone!)
Oh and maintenance cost/insurance is a factor, although small cars at this level i'm really expecting all of them to save similar fees/insurance prices.
For goodness sake, buy brand new Mitsubishi Mirage only 383.000 Baht. Don't waste your money on a second hand car.

I have lived in Thailand since 2010 and I have never used a jet Ski nor do I intend to use one soon.
It is only a SCAM if you participate in it.
If you don't participate you won't be scammed.
This is common knowledge amongst the farang locals that the jet-ski scams are everywhere along the Pattaya & Jontiem coast line. Its difficult to argue when holiday makers are confronted with angry Thai's screaming in your face, demanding money. Its a pity that there are no Thai Police on duty to serve and protect the tourists.

I can say the opposite from personal first hand experience...
Mr Williams just tried to sell me a house as where he claimed to be the agent, but where in reality he isn't ( to use soft words)
Even the house on the picture isn't a house for sale...
so WARNING... Scammer
Can I also add the WARNING that Mr Williams is simply not trustworthy. He makes claims about himself and his abilities which are just not honest or truthful. As the writer observes - SCAMMER

Yes and you should be very careful. Alibaba do very little if you are the subject of fraud, deception or mis-selling by them or their advertisers. You can find yourself, literally thousands of dollars out of pocket and being charged with illegal importing of undeclared goods by Thai Customs, as I was with water filtration equipment. I have complained but Alibaba simply don't care and simply walk away. Please take this warning as being deadly serious.

Then are you suggesting that the whole of Thailand and the Thai people are renegades ????
