Not married.
My wife is the home owner. So it's her responsibility to report my presence there?

If you are married just get a multiple non-o visa.

He wants to put something in but not in the computer.
If you work online you might need a work permit.
I dont think you have anything to worry about

I wouldn't use any of it until you get the stamp, 399,999 is not 400,000.

I was told the copy of the birth certificate does nothze to be noterized.
I have a copy of my sons birth certificate and an original birth certificate for my daughter

With a thai child a visa is only good for 90 days I thought it was 1 year

Do I apply for the non o visa in Thailand or America. I have a son and I work in America for 5 to 6 months a year before it wasn't a problem because I was married now we are getting divorced I still want to spend 6 to 7 months with him.
Do I say I live at his grand mothers since that is where he is going to school.
Copy of house book and birth certificate are not a problem.
I read online at the immigration website there are only 60 day visas for this I want a 1 year visa. does anyone know how I do this I am his sole financial support I have proof of that going back 2 to 3 years.
I went to the websites from what I found thai immigration in Los Angeles doesn't issue multiple entry non o visas it is done in Thailand so what visa do I apply for.
The websites are pretty outdated with conflicting information.

Assuming you've ever been there, you must have gone to the wrong beach.
Yes the resort beaches are ok for bikinis. I had a friend that managed a resort it's two different worlds one inside the resort one outside the resort.

I thought I read a while back that a person with a non O visa could work and open a business. Would a person have to also get a work permit

Get yourself a local experienced lawyer, as well as a copy of "Thai Law for Foreigners" (gives you a better understanding of what philosophies drive Thai family law court decison-making processes). It will help you understand what questions you should be asking, and what is really important in negotiations. Separate out wasted emotional issues and concentrate on achieving what you can out of the wreckage. Sooner or later, despite current "friend" feelings, yours and your wife's ideas about how to bring up the kids will diverge -time and personal circumstances will change and you might have some hard decisions imposed on you if you're not living locally. Prepare now so you and the children can deal with the inevitable to achieve results best for you. Good luck.
We get along for the most part. It won't be a problem with anything.

You can get a one year Multiple Entry Non-O visa ( based on your marriage to a Thai) from a Thai consulate back home, whatever is closer to you.
Then you have to leave the country every 90 days, but that's easy when you're in Ubon ( to the Laotian border not so far) and from Pattaya to Cambodia ( daily vans)
That will enable you to stay here with your wife, as she can stay on her Thai passport. The problem you'll have is to be completely legal and running two businesses more than 600 km away from each other.
Once you're in Ubon, please visit Peppers, the restaurant opposite the military airport. The owner has lived in the States for quite a long time and he's really a good guy who can give you a lot of information how to set up your business.
To set up a company under your name wouldn't be as easy as it is for your wife. You'll need a certain amount of money and you must have as far as i remember five Thai employees. If your wife's running the businesses it makes all much easier.
You could eventually be a General manager for her company, but that all depends on the department of labor in Ubon, or eventually in Chonburi.
The problem you're facing is that you're dealing with two different provinces. But you'll have to start somewhere and it seems to be the best to get your Non-O visa at a Thai consulate back home.
If you want I can give you the contact information of the owner who's running Peppers, bakery and restaurant.
Be aware that you'll have to fight with the Immigration and the labor department. What's really important is to be well dressed and of course well mannered. Never lose your temper, even when your blood is boiling when they tell you to fill out form XY for the 123 rd time.
Best of luck !
P.S. The laws were changed about seven years ago and you're now allowed to work on a Non-O visa.
I never had to leave on my non o. Did the rules change again.

Hi I am in same situation as OP. I have a Non-0 multiple entry marriage visa, my final entry was April 5th. After my 90 days are up I would like to extend for another 60 days at local immigration. Does anyone know what I will need to bring to immigration office to get the extension?
TIA
Why not just redo the 1 year visa

Even volinteering can be looked at as work. I know people that have done work fixing up his own restaurant..he did it with the door closed because it is not specified in his work permit. I say be careful and low key

I have no social media accounts. Employers are starting to ask for Facebook acounts and others so why wouldn't a government everyone posts everything. Sooner or later it will happen. Question 15 list social media accounts and user names.

Nope welcome to the 21st century
Is it considered work to have computers mining bitcoins ?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
You are in thailand, you have an office set up computers ect and you are making money inside of thailands border.
You have an electric bill much higher than anyone else. If you are mining bitcoins in Thailand
I dont think ot would be hard for a government agency to say your working without a permit.
And qhen they take your compuyers they take your bitcoins with them.
I wouldnt risk it
