  1. I have some suggestions that may help. There is a neurological hospital connected to Chiang Mai University Medical School. It is on Suthep Road https://www.cmneuro.go.th/EN/index.php For day to day medical needs, the Geriatric Hospital can be useful www.med.cmu.ac.th/en/service/excellence-center/gmc/ If dementia in some form is diagnosed, then residential care may be needed. Dok Kaew Gardens is attached to McKean Hospital, and is reasonably priced. There are other, less affordable privately owned places. https://www.mckean.or.th/dok-kaew-gardens/ Somebody, somewhere, should be given a power of attorney to manage your friend's affairs. You could perhaps discuss this with him while he is still legally able to make such decisions. Good luck to him and to you.
  2. When I got a new passport earlier this year, VFS told me they could accept a copy of the yellow book with a translation, which the translation company can self certify (MFA certification not needed) I went down a different route in the end, using a letter from a UK accountant to my home address in Thailand as evidence of my address, which was accepted. If you do have a translation done, make sure that they copy exactly your name from your passport.
  3. Thank you for this. A big clue, as I have Avast, which uses exactly the same engine as AVG. I have found a solution which works with Avast, and will probably work with AVG too. If you revoke all of the antivirus app's permissions in the Accessibility menu (Settings > Accessibility > Installed apps) then the AIS app loads quite smoothly. This accessibility permission is required by Avast/AVG to run the Web Shield function which checks out internet connections, links etc. It seems that Avast and AVG (maybe others) are not allowing MyAIS to connect to the net. Make sure you restore the permission after you have finished. Your AV app needs it.
  4. I am having exactly the same problem as the OP on two phones - both Samsung, 2 and 3 years old. And I do mean exactly the same - they hang up at 56.1%, same as the OP. OP - do you have an antivirus on your phone? If yes, which one, please? I use Avast. I have emailed support via Google Play Store (more in hope than expectation.) I'll update the board if I get a reply.
  5. Does anybody have a recommendation for a doctor/hospital to treat/monitor Non Hodgkins Lymphoma?? Anywhere in Thailand. The only concern is to find the best possible. Thank you
