Bear in mind doctors are human and like all human beings occasionally have an "off" day.
Yes. I totally understand that and maybe it just wasn't a good match. In any case, I was only trying to provide a differing view and ask for help. I have no interest in sullying anyone's reputation which is why I responded in such a vague manner.

I'm sorry but I'm a tourist here and I read in an earlier post about Thailand's libel laws. I do not want to compromise myself in anyway but suffice it to say I felt unheard and I am unhelped.

I'm very surprised to hear that, she has a very very strong reputation not only in the North but also in Bangkok, I consulted her for a couple of years and found her to be extremely good. I don't have an alternate for endocrinology, such is the strength of her reputation.
Yes, I was quite disappointed.

An earlier thread mentioned Dr. Ampica Mangklabruks as a very good thyroid doctor in Chiang Mai. I am sorry to report that my experience with her was not good.
Can anyone recommend a good thyroid doctor in Chiang Mai?

I joined this group to share my differing experience which I am clear in understanding is not appreciated. Because I found the doctor HERE, and it didn't work out for me, I thought I'd post HERE and ask for HELP. Sullying any reputation is exactly NOT what I did. Specifically, I was trying to avoid sullying by not being more specific.
