  1. Thai Gert,

We lost Deefa our older dog and got a puppy soon after to keep us and the other dog company, it helps a little, my other dog Mee is ready to go into season for the third time soon and she is nearly 2 if you are interested you can have one of the litter, she has no papers unlike Deefa 2 but she is a really nice happy dog, we are going to put her with another Rottie down the road from us, if you would like one of the pups its yours

I am really sorry for your loss

    oooooooooh, nice dogs!!

  2. So sorry gerd, for both you and your wife, I have lost a few animals over the years, to cancer, to old age. It never gets easier but I have always been glad to have had them in my life as their love made it so much richer.

    Thank you sbk,

It's now 24 hours ago when he fell asleep but we've kept him until this morning in our house.

My wife slept with him on the floor the whole night. She is still crying...

She says she'll never forget, when she closes her eyes she can see him all the time.

    Gerd

  3. Siiting at home and waiting for our vet to come.

He will give him the final injections to sent him over the rainbow bridge. We and the vets have tried many things to save him but finally we had to give up.

Cancer in his right leg developed into a huge ball around his knee and up.

We've got him as a 3 months old puppy, he always had a very gentle personality, never any problems.

    His name is MAX.

In 1 month he would be 10 years old. We are sitting now at home and crying like children.....

Max, thank you for the great time we have had with you. We will never ever forget you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Patong on the north end of beach accross from novotel, great location (its built on rocks on the beach), service is nice, no road noise/smells and the MR pepper stake will have you coming back again and again. Price is about 500 baht a main. Bargin. Not sure if others think the same but i think seafood in thailand would best be left in the sea. not good enough to sell on a plate. Happy to be corrected!

Sounds like you are talking about 'Joe's Downstairs'.

    I dont think you'll get a steak for 500Baht at Joe's....more around 1500Baht.

  5. Are you looking for fresh yeast?

The recipe I was given lists granulated yeast. Not sure of the pros and cons compared to live yeast.

When your reicpe lists granulated than you do not need fresh yeast.

But if you want bake bread the fresh one gives a better taste.

Fresh yeast sounds a better option but I was wondering if it's more difficult to work with?

No, from my experience it's not more difficult but you have to follow your recipes!

  7. We use Scmidt in our inhouse bakery. Would appreciate knowing about live yeast though.

You can get the fresh one from Farang Food, opp. Teso Lotus, They also have other baking ingredients as well.

  8. The usual practise when using someone else's male dog is to give

the owner of the dog the pick of the litter for one pup, if you do

    that people may be interested

    That's a good idea!
