Yet, when I run the speed test, results are high, over 150 mps

but a speed test to where? What servers? Usually it defaults to the closest, I.e a server in Bangkok - this will show good speed.

You would need to speed test to your IPTV servers, which isn’t easy. But you can guarantee it would be much slower than 150mbps, especially at peak times, limited by Thailands network and the IPTV servers capability.
You’ll notice you can always stream YouTube/Netflix etc, because they have incredible infrastructure worldwide. Illegal streamers on the other hand, don’t.

  2. They talk as if the price sets itself and they have no control….

it their website, the algorithm they use, the max prices that they enter.

why does it need extra flights? Cap the price - could do that today.  Yes the flight will be full - that’s good for them isn’t it? People will find a flight on another day or with another airline.

The dealer is interested in selling the bike to you... go pick out your bike and they will tell you exactly what you need... no worries... you will drive off that day while they sort the papers.

If you want to be prepared... take your passport with you... they will make copies... and go to IO and get a residence certificate ahead of time... but not more than 30 days ahead... the dealer will take care of everything else.

This isn't always the case - in fact if you're paying cash, some dealers, for some models actually don't want to sell it you, as they'd much rather a thai bought if with finance.

  4. if you're heading to BKK for the guitar room, there is also Music Collection, who have a few branches in Bangkok, and also have a website:

    www.music.co.th

They sell Taylor and Martins, amongst others

Just tried on Firefox although not signing in - comments are there ok. What has Opera done to me?

Goto the URL opera://settings/siteData, type youtube.com in the quick-find field and choose "remove all shown". Do the same for google.com. Then, log back into Youtube and see if things are working again. If not, I'd disable your extensions one by one to see if any are causing the problem. I'd also temporarily disable Opera's adblocker and tracking protection to see if that's the cause.

It seems to be just me - I am not blocking ads or anything, using Opera so don't know why I am blocked. My son in the UK just checked - he has no problem either.

    What can I do?

Yeah, i can see the comments.
What does it show on your screen where the comments should be? screenshot?

  8. Why not post a link to one of said videos, so we can tell you?

I can see all comments for all videos I view.

However at work I can't see any, because IT have settings that make youtube run in restricted mode.

what device are you browsing on? Some TV boxes dont show youtube comments.

2nd edit after reading your OP again:

Do you mean when watching the downloaded file from 'clip grab' you can't see the comments?!

I'm going to allow this subject some more latitude but as I said earlier, discussions about tax evasion are illegal and against forum rules so please take things in a different direction shortly

If thai law allows for gifting of this amount between spouses with no tax liabilities each tax year, then I don't see where illegality comes into play.  Its legal.

thanks for not answering my question.

Because your question makes no sense - what has Revolut got to do with sending money from your thai bank? Revolut is the Receiving bank - they will accept whatever you can send.

If the bank of thailand has some rule that you cannot send thb out, then obviously your Thai bank must convert to another currency, but thats not a requirement of Revolut.

You pay a flat rate to swift transfer the home country currency and let receiving Thai bank to convert to Baht.

It is absolutely cheaper than Wise once you get above about US$10K

Not really: Here's 50k euros sent via Wise:

Compared to Kbank's transfer receiving rate of 37.907thb, giving 1 895 363thb. (this doesnt account for the SWIFT fee or thai bank fee yet either).
