My experience with Air Asia recently was similar. I wanted to buy extra checked kilos. I could not find a way after my initial purchase. Then when online check-in became open I noticed they ask if you want add ons. One of the add ons was buying extra hand luggage and checked baggage. So if you haven't already done the extra online check-in you might find the solution you are seeking.

Having worked as a croupier in casinos in London, Iran and Greece I for one hope they don't open them here in Thailand. They are the cause of such misery, desperation and addiction because the only winners are the casinos. Thais will be like lambs to the slaughter. As a croupier I saw it first hand.
