  1. Unfortunately I have a chandelier with around 50 bulbs, then there's all the garden LED floodlights. Changing switches is definitely the better solution for me. I have some Hue light bulbs for the lights I want to be able to adjust. I decided to get an electrician to do it all. Much easier for the small cost of it all. Thanks everyone for your inputs.
  2. Ok, it's brown.. being colour-blind I could have sworn that was red! Thanks for your help.
  3. Thank you. As there are 2 ends on the white. Should they be put together into the L?
  4. I know I should probably get an electrician, but was wondering how easy it would be to switch my regular switches to smart switches. (After switching off the power naturally) The current wiring doesnt look like anything I find online. Is it just a case of sticking the 2 black and 1 red into the L1, L2, L3 and then the white into the L? The electrician who wired my house said there was no neutral wire on the switches.
  5. This is exactly what I was reading from this website: https://www.thaiembassy.com/thailand/thailand-digital-nomad-visa-and-work-permit As long as you aren't taking away a job from a local, they aren't interested.
  6. Thanks for your replies. To give more details, I left HK and moved to Thailand to take a break. My previous employer proposed to take me back and work 75% in Thailand and 25% in HK. So the company isnt imposing that I work in Thailand, just proposing as they know I don't want to move back to HK full time.
  7. I can't seem to find an answer for this. I recently arrived from overseas with a marriage visa. The company I was working for overseas has asked me to work remotely for them in Thailand. The business is all overseas with products and customers overseas, salary paid overseas. I read that remote work is forbidden, but I also read that a work visa is not required as long as you aren't taking a job away from a Thai person. Anyone know the right answer?
  8. I have these patches on my lawn. It looks like paper and actually cracks when you walk or pull it out. Any idea what it is and if I should get rid of it?
  9. In my residential development we all have 3 phases. Not sure why.
  10. I havent understood this. How can you run backwards without it being seen?
  11. I havent seen anything like this. For now I was just going to manually stop sending back the last week of the month. Though as you mentioned it's a pain going through the settings with that one button. Also inputting PIN and then setting the reflux to 0.00. And I need to do that x3 ????
  12. I noticed the country code on the inverters is set to 22. Should I change this to 40 (thailand PEA)?
  13. I have 3x SOFAR 3300TL-G3 I have seen they are on the PEA approved list.
  14. My 3 single inverter is definitely working much better now. I do have one last question though. If I disable antireflux, I will be sending excess back to the grid. My installer says that this can also be dangerous for PEA workers as can cause sparks. I havent understood it all, but guess he is referring to the anti islanding. THis should be separate from the anti reflux right and anti islanding shouldnt be available as a setting to be switched on/off?
  15. On a side note, I contacted PEA who told me they would have a new solar program in May apparently, with a new tarif for sending back to the grid. In the meantime my inverter will be changed for 3x single phase this friday. Again thanks all for your input.
