    @andux

So she’s going to retire soon?

In my case it’s almost like my wife’s supporting me.

I’ve got a pretty good income and so does she.

We got a pretty expensive life back home in Europe and my salary doesn’t cover all the expenses every month, so she’s transferring between 120k-200k Thb almost every month, exept when we’re gonna spend some time in Thailand.

    I’m 41 and she’s 34.

Our money is OUR money. Not her money and my money. If I want to buy something expensive, I talk to my wife. The same does she when she want to buy som expensive stuff.

We’ve got a shared economy. The synergy effect is really good for both of us.

    So...

Don't move together. Move in to her, she’s already paying for her house/apartment. If she could afford it before you moved in, she can afford it now.

You should explain for her the meaning of the word “We” and “Together”.

Otherwise you you could probably learn her something about life.

Let her quit her job, wait a while, kick her out.

Never have I read such unhelpful comments on someone's problems before.

The poor guy was just seeking help and not one comment was helpful in any way

The comment above yours was helpful.

hiw much energy do you think he hav to use to find out that these guys hardly have any money at all.

Should he chase them all around Thailand?

AS ubonjoe states, your easiest and cheapest option would be to purchase a cheap one way ticket departing Thailand within 30 days of your Emirates flight arrival in to Thailand, via one of the low cost airline websites, then use this to show Emirates upon boarding.

Enter Thailand on the 30 day visa exempt entry, extend this entry by a further 30 days at the immigration office local to where you will be staying in Thailand, then proceed as you planned for Penang.

The best would be to book an expensive ticket which can be cancelled and fully refunded if he doesn’t want to leave Thailand.

In a partnership it's usual for each partner to contribute the same amount of cash to the project.

I'm guessing you contribute all the cash, and she contributes all the spending.

That's the way most Thai women operate.

I'm happy to be proven wrong though?

My own dear wife tells me she's only for the bedroom, and if I want someone to cook and clean I should hire a housekeeper.

My “wife” have approximately the same income as me, which is not bad at all.

We could probably afford to get someone to cook, clean and even feed us, but we don’t have that kind of mentality.

I couldn’t stand being treated as an infant, especially when I have time to do things my self.

I rather do some household work than watching TV and drinking beer.

If there’s nothing to do in the house, I have no problem getting even 2‰ watching cartoons. But then I’m done and satisfied with my achievement

  5. Hmm

Without reading all posts I’m just reflecting over those first ones.

I’m not helping my wife. Well, she’s not my wife...yet, but that’s not the point.

I do laundry, cleaning and all kind of things.

I’m just not calling it “helping” my wife.

It’s my duty to do the <deleted> cleaning after my self. I’m probably making a bigger mess than my wife.

So I would rather say that my “wife” is doing my job or helping me when she’s cleaning, mopping or whatever she do to keep the house look good.

That is what you THINK that he is the only one other comments are not relevant for you right ?

The relevant answer is the correct answer.

If you want, i can say 3 stamps per 37 days or 9 stamps during 12 hours.

Now you can choose what's relevant for you...but whatever you choose out of those two, nothing is correct.

But who cares. As long as you will have the feeling that it's relevant for you, everything will be fine.

    +1

anyone who intentionally does this on hills should not be in charge of any vehicle, an accident waiting to happen. Also those who say is ok in an automatic vehicle are talking crap, even an auto if you slow to an appropriate speed for the given hill you will have a modicum of engine effect breaking and more overall control. Think maybe a few responding have been driving/riding too long in LOS lol

I think that Darwin will sort this out.

People who can't drive will die and extinct those bad genes.

My usual long-distance taxi driver does this even on expressways. Once up to cruising speed he then starts to 'pump' the accelerator pedal every five seconds or so causing, as the OP said, 'nodding dog' motion. On busy main roads it is not so noticeable as the usual speed variations required to respond to the changing traffic flow disguise it.

The cars in Thailand are not the same as for the rest of the world.

The accelerator pedal isn't an accelerator pedal. It's a fuel pump.

If not pumping, how the hell will the fuel come to the engine.

thanks for confirming the content of  my reply .

Seems you dont need to know the meaning of those ancient Egyptian things anymore ,

you dont have land anymore and the only one who could understand the meaning owns the land now.

So everything went as predicted .

But you take your loss well, you are an optimist and happy, your daughter is happy and your wife is happy.

    So all ends well .

You can start allover again ........

I don't need any land or any car. I just needed to get her values in Thailand so i could deduct it from the money i had to pay her.

She sent in some documents to the court (here in scandinavia) that her mother owns the house and her grandfather owns the land, so the value of the property in Thailand was zero.

So i just hired a lawyer in Thailand and got the correct papers now and told the court at home that the fraud attempt is probably not.....how to say....well, not exactly legal.

So that will probably reduce my expenses with 3,15 million Thb which could be converted in to beer, socks, eggs or plenty of toilet paper.

You should have warned me before. Just confirming the content of your reply didn't help anyone.

Now i know that i should not be a bad boy, if i want to keep my money.

land size written i hieroglyphics ????

No, it is just written in Thai language, witch you obviously dont master .

    You also dont master hieroglyphics...........

So you only master English...........and your daughter probably speaks Thai and English fluently ?

Later ,since you are new here, you will probably réalise that your wife is the owner of your land (and ev. house),......

so be a good boy and dont make your wife angry........she knows how to read hieroglyphics .........

Maby you can start here:Afbeeldingsresultaat voor thai numbershttps://www.google.es/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj1ibyG_JXUAhXBOxoKHT4oAqcQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fblogs.transparent.com%2Fthai%2Fmath-in-thai%2F&psig=AFQjCNHTv39HaaeHGdxukxZDvM4PzQRjAA&ust=1496177067231988

It is not so difficult, your daughter can help you with these simple  things.

I wish you the best , i was just joking.

    Sorry for a late reply.

My daughters english isn't fluent and she can't read or write Thai so well.

For me i can speak 3 languages pretty well or 5 languages if we include all scandinavian languages.

My german is not so good, but i understand if i read.

I was a bad boy and made my wife really angry. It will cost me a small fortune, but it doesn't matter if hus and land is in her name. The value is still there and it will reduce the cost of the divorce.

But <deleted>. It's worth all the money and a little bit more. Even my daughter is happy. She's 13 now and still can't understand those ancient Egyptian things ;)

  11. Hi guys

I'm new here, so I'm probably doing something wrong with my posting.

I was wondering if anyone could "translate" land size written i hieroglyphics.

It's ok if i just get ngan, talang met, or whatever it says. For me it looks like something my daughter did when she was 3 years old.

    Thanks in advance
