Lately every time my pool starts up it spits filter sand out of the outlets , about a half liter or so.
One pool guy said the sand level was too low and added more sand. The next fellow suggested several
backwashings.
Neither of these suggestions were helpful.
Any ideas out there?

Interesting numbers.
I went to Bangkok Samui Hospital this morning and the doctor told me that there are 7 known cases on Samui.
Full Moon massage (Bangrak) is open again
Is Bangkok Samui Hospital doing Covid vaccinations now?

I have an avocado tree it is about 17 years old, it has been bearing fruit fo the past 6 or 7 years.
I have been averaging about 100 avocados a year. This year it blossomed in late Feb very heavily
lots of pollinators. Flowers died off late March also the leaves, it seems to me that the tree is dead
no sign of new growth, no sign of baby fruit. Anybody have any comments?
A tree about 5 meters away seems fine.

Why are you messing with Thaivisa? Whatever it is it's not an improvement.

I would try to ask in one of the many aludoor-shops along the Ring Road, they would probably do the complete work. You have several in Maenam, one almost next to the former Angela's, and little further down to the road towards HomeMart, but the opposite side, is a steel shop that might also do it, or know about it...????
Thanks for that. Years ago there was a dedicated shutter shop in Maenam, but long gone.

Does anybody know who sells and installs steel shutters like the ones fitted on shop houses?

My exterior walls have been painted with a water based paint for the past 15 years. During that time they have
been re-painted 3 times. I now want to paint with an oil based paint. What sort of prep work do I have to do?

Same height all the way ie conform to the slope (imo).
2m at one end and 0.5 m at the other would look silly (again imo) as you could step over one end.
I agree.

I have an overgrown ficus hedge on one side of my property. I need to have this cut down to a managable height, the road on this side
has a considerable slope. the gardener wants to cut it so that it conforms to the slope, my better half wants it cut level which means
it would be 2 meters at one end tapering down to about 50cm at the other. Any advice would be appreciated. I wonder what is common
practice in this situation?

I recently had some roof damage repaired on my pickup, this necessated
removing the headliner. I now have greasy fingerprints to clean up on the
headliner. Any suggestions as to what would work best without compounding
the problem?

Does anybody know where I can buy a genuine brand name watch on Samui today?
Recently bought one from Lazada, it turned out to be fake and and failed after several days.

Have not had a GE washer for several decades but recall had issues with ants loving the rotary control switch at one point so might not be a major problem (kill and blow out). Sorry not from island so no idea who to call.
Thanks for that, will check.

You don't say how old the TV's are? We have a 2012 model and YouTube no longer works on it and Samsung is not updating the app. Solution is to use a plug in Android box or enter the Samsung device in developer mode for some 3rd party hacks that are less desirable.
Both TVs are about 18 months old.

I have 2 Samsung 32" smart TVs in the house, they both have Netflix and You Tube installed from new.
A few days ago I was unable to get You Tube to open in either tv. They are both on WIFI, Netflix opens
fine, I can get You Tube on my mobile. Have googled the problem, but still cannot fix.
Does anybody have any ideas??
