  1. This is not a question of international law. Other countries have no rights to decide what you do with your own land within your own country.
  2. By winning in numerous wars. If you forced another country to capitulate, then you become the legal owner of the new land.
  3. Thailand and Myanmar have legally exited the Empire. So there are no problems. But what about Ukraine? Let's have a look at the "Law on Secession from the USSR" - http://soviethistory.msu.edu/1991-2/shevarnadze-resigns/shevarnadze-resigns-texts/law-on-secession-from-the-ussr/ Article 3. In a Union republic which includes within its structure autonomous republics, autonomous oblasts, or autonomous okrugs, the referendum is held separately for each autonomous formation. The people of autonomous republics and autonomous formations retain the right to decide independently the question of remaining within the USSR or within the seceding Union republic, and also to raise the question of their own state-legal status. So according to the law, it was necessary to hold at least 2 referendums for the Ukraine to exit USSR (In Crimea autonomous okrug and the remaining territory separately). This have never happened. Vlad will explain it for you later.
  4. Don't worry. Vlad supporters are trying to be law abiding citizens here. Nothing more. In July 2020, there was a constitutional amendment referendum in Russia. Russian people had to decide if Russia was the successor of the Soviet Union or not. Most Russians had approved this. Therefore, according to the new law, Russia, as the successor of the USSR, has the right to restore its territorial integrity within the borders of the USSR. So Vlad is preparing documents for judicial cancellation of the secession of the republics from the USSR.
  5. Not mе, actually. This is how president Biden has described the situation: Putin wants to 're-establish the former Soviet Union' https://www.businessinsider.com/biden-putin-ukraine-invasion-trying-to-restore-soviet-union-2022-2
  6. That depends on weather you live in a Soviet Republic or not. The next Putin's move will be a public court which will try to demonstrate that Ukraine and the other 15 republics have never completed the legal procedure for exiting USSR. So people from Estonia or Georgia should be worried. But people from France or UK have nothing to be worried about.
  7. Looks like western people love Ukraine much more than they love their own countries.
  8. I can't register an account in Sina Weibo in Thailand. Chinese phone number is needed for it. Everyone is using Facebook instead. That means Thai people will think that America is good and China is bad. To reverse the situation, it is necessary to ban Facebook and allow registration at Sina Weibo.
  9. I have a Non-O visa ext. (60 days, Thai child) followed by Non-B (1 yr) and then, about 5 COVID ext. (60 days, visa changed from Non-B to Thai child based). Looks like my best bet is to apply for a tourist visa in Cambodia. I hope there may be some options for land border crossings.
  10. By air. Because as far as I know, Thailand pass does not allow entrance by land. If they reject my entrance in Suvarnabhumi, I can just go back to Cambodia by air, right? I hope they have a hotel or so to wait for the next flight to Cambodia. I entered Thailand with Non-O 2 years ago. My current stamp expires on May, 4.
  11. Looks like Vlad will say tomorrow: "Comrades! I want my villa in Belgravia back! So I have decided to capitulate. And our western partners can execute me right now!"
  12. Hi I am in Thailand now. I want to make a visa run to Cambodia in May. Is it possible to get a visa exemption (30 days) based Thailand Pass without leaving Thailand?
  13. What does the word "universal" mean here? Does it mean that Russia will bomb China, Maldives or Seychelles? I don't think so. I think it does mean that Russia will bomb the US only. And China will be the winner of this war. So, the US will never bomb Russia with nuclear bombs. Putin knows it.
  14. I hope there will be any help from imm offices. For example, 30 days Z-visas would solve many problems.
  15. Russians have difficulties buying an air ticket to go back home. This is due to sanctions.
  16. Mariupol is the home for the Azov group, which is the most desirable target for the Kremlin propaganda. Many people from the Putin`s party in the Russian parliament are sure that showing these gentlemen from the Azov to the world will reverse the opinions regarding who is good and who is bad in this war.
  17. Russians like such articles very much. But they are like a good wine which need years to become really tasty: https://www.cnbc.com/2015/01/21/obamas-remarks-on-russias-economy-dead-right-experts.html
  18. The Big Run is in progress. About 50k of 200k has run out via Georgia already. Russians need other elite, more eastern-style, which will not annoy Russians with their "democratic values", such as "free press" or so.
  19. That's why about 99% of Russian elite will go to their beloved West in the nearest 3 months. Including journalists, oligarchs and bankers. After that you will see another Russia.
  20. "this is a fight for freedom and humanity or tyranny, take your choice" You are completely right. This is a battle between good and evil. We know that Good always triumphs over Evil. So who won is the one who is good. That's why so many people are just waiting this battle to be finished - this will be the most convenient moment to choose the side of Good in this conflict.
  21. US (an oil exporter) is going to ban Russian import today. So the EU (an oil importer) should ban its oil export to Russia, right? This would be funny to the same degree.
