  1. Wouldn't a plant that makes triggers for grenade launchers being monitored rather closely? Can anybody just order them?

I wouldn't be quite so quick to blame the red shirts just yet. Maybe it's Newin and his crew.

Would YOU recognize a triggering part for a grenade launcher? I would not. And if asked if I could make x number of this part - why should I not?

As far as I know it´s as likely to fit on a harvester as on a grenade launcher.

  2. Very interesting subject!

Today "we" cut down a quite big old tree that my wife calls "Mai Gra-tawn".

Does anybody know what this might be? It seems like we are making a new stair for indoor use. Planks abt 2,5-3" thick and 15-20" wide.

I've been looking in this post but not found it.

We live in Sukhothai, maybe different lingo?

  3. To my way of thinking- a balcony is usually an appendage on a building that is not at ground level. Ground level balconies are usually referred to as decks, terraces, patios, etc.

So- unless wild Thai rabbits can fly up on to a balcony, it makes sense hat the OP wants to keep his rabbits from being victims of gravity!

Furthermore, I've never seen a rabbit running free / wild in Thailand. They would most certainly be as you suggest - caught and eaten! Aroi mak!

Hannahcopacabana - just for laughs, tell us!

Well, obviously wild Swedish rabbits can. This specimen can be examined in a museum in Sundsvall, Sweden.

Sorry, off topic, but I just had to.

  4. Nice OP and a lot of good information in the following replies too.

I really would love to, when my time comes, to have a full Thai funeral with gambling, drinking, laughter and a lot of food.

Let's not forget that for the one in the coffin this is not a time for sadness, but for joy. From here on everything is supposed to get better for him/her following the Buddhist thinkings.

  5. Don't have that kind of filter, but I would expect that you hook the third line to the drain. Since dirty water is entering the normally clean side of the filter (with less build-up), it will flush out the build-up on the other side.

When finished, I would expect you would want to run filter water to the drain for several minutes, so that any gunk from your brief backwash can get out of the system.

Yeah, I guess that would be the least "valve consuming" set up. I think I'll go for that one.

    Thanks!
