Against 100 limit per day applies and clearly says so at the consulate.

might be wise not to argue with someone who is in Penang as I type and was in consulate yesterday

Once again, You just saw the notice paper stick on the wall is because they haven't removed the notice. If you still facing problem to enter Thai Consulate office before 11am. Pls email me <contact by personal message>. I will help you.

Again there is no limit for walk in applicant before 11am (Malaysia Time)

Application limit of 100 per day still applies .

having gone with an agent , I can confirm going alone is not different. Not only agent does not do anything , but does not even come with you, no queue jumping or any privileges at all.

Agent fees range from 30-50 ringgit , that’s pretty much taxi fare there and back.

Application limit of 100 per day no more applies . Just walk in before 11am (Malaysia Time)

A good agent will know what documents are required for each visa and if you are in town you can get extra copies or do something about the problem without wasting money on several taxi rides to the consulate and standing in line for possibly hours at a time.

Still whatever floats your boat.

I think D.I.Y is much much better. If you go yourself and lack of document you can prepared on the spot. There is one van at outside Thai Consulate selling WIFI and printing. You can sent your document to them and they will print it out for you. Of course there is some charges for printing. But due to convenient it worth. And they are very helpful. I suggest everyone before enter to Thai consulate office, let the van man check through all the document to avoid reject from the office. And their checking document service is free of charge (F.O.C). So you can save time and save money too. Cheers!

Brokers/agents will get first crack and do well over 100 per day I am sure so you can forget walking in yourself basically.

Actually Per day is 200 people. All the agents will share 100 peoples. The rest have to walk in. And if you go to agent, the agents have to sent you to Thai consulate office too to apply visa. Starting from 14th May.....

  5. Now a day, go to agents is not the best way. She should go to Thai consulate submit SETV herself directly. In the same time if she lack any document, the officer will let her know immediately. Then she can go to prepare documents. And at outside Thai consulate, there is a Van helping people taking photo and copy documents. This guys is fabulous! If you got any problem remember seek for him. He have many solution and experience!

Is it fair to assume that only the e-ticket is what they are after?

I was never asked for anything over the years btw
