my mate went to Ban Laem border today, got the number 1.

Add to that if I NEVER see Poipet again that will be a very good thing!

have to agree about poipet ,though thankfully havnt had to resort to that for a few years.

Alcohol drinking is not allowed on this “ThaiVisaRun” bus, it is a quite peaceful trip.

You can catch a bus from Morchit to MaeSot and return next day.

I started to worry after seeing “definately” used a few times too often on ThaiVisa by a large number of posters but after doing this search I feel better: “definately” will not replace “definitely” in the dictionaries for some time.

Does anyone know if the Thai Embassy in Singapore will be open for business on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of June?

I have a friend who will go there for a visa and worried that it may be closed due to the holidays marked to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne.

However, I think this holiday does not apply to Thai embassies and consulates abroad as the main reason for the holiday is to avoid traffic congestion.

try to avoid these 2 days, the Embassy can shut anytime for any reason.

But they ,normally,not let Foreigner's board.

They are paid by the Casino to make CasinoRun's and not VisaRun's.

One thing I've learnt from this country, do not take advantage from the locals. If you wanna go cheap, take the public ones. Otherwise there are many visarun services in Bangkok, from 5:00 to 9:30 in the morning.

I find that the Thai driver's license is of more use in other areas like proof of who you are, not a tourist etc

I had to do some Visaruns recently.

I teach 2 hours in the morning everyday for Grammy. If I do only an hour class, I can still use Quick Thai Visa Run, which leaves quite late in the morning. But it is impossible now, my partner broke his foot last week.

I am looking for a late-leaving visa run service, I know Quick Thai Visa Run leaves as late as 10 am, but I won’t finish my work until 10:45. I need to find a service leaves in the afternoon, and come back in the same day.
