Im wearing my p100 filter mask to i/o, do you think I'll have any problems except people unaware of how contagious it is staring/sniggering?

But you know that a mask like this wont do the job or? Droplet infection also works over the eyes ^^ Masks help that you do not infect anyone but offer you limited protection against infection so better go for a full gas mask would like to see people with them at 40 degrees ^^

  3. Hey There,

Ill need to make a new Visa on sunday just wanted to check if my Information is still correct or if anything has changed.

Ill go for Non-O based on marriage.

So besides the usual documents is there still no need for proof of Income?

And a nother Question for that news of having to show insurance soon if you want to get a non -o visa That change is not in place at this time now or from how I understand it it will be a change to come or?

Many thanks in advance and look forward to your responses.

  4. Hello there,

I am an German living in Thailand since last year I've always left Thailand after 5 month (90 days on arrival and a nother 60 days extension based on me taking care of my Daughter) at Vientiane.

So my visa ran out already the Extension is about to run out in 2 weeks.

So ill need to get a new Visa soon but I prefer to not having to fly back to Germany.

The Information I got so far about it is that in Vientiane I can get a Non-O based on marriage but only Single entry for a Multiple Entry Visa I would have to go to Savannahket.

So my Question is if I would have 400K on my Bank when applying for the visa is It possible to get a Multiple entry Visa at Vientiane to or is it under no circumstances possible to get a Multiple enty Visa there?

I live in Phetchabun so I would prefer to go to Vientiane

    Thanks in advance

Your correct, but the OP stated he has already applied for a Non Imm O ME Visa based on marriage.

Still waiting for the Embassy to call.

I guess I will just visit the Dept. of Labour then when I stay in Thailand and Try to get the WP based on the things I pointed out earlier.

Because if I dont have a WP I am not allowed to do anything related with work or not even helping my wife or family in their work?

Without a work permit you would be working illegally.

Unless you are defined as a specialist or expert in certain fields, the only employment you'd find is teaching English.

A lot of schools employ unqualified personnel without any experience due to the vast shortage of English speakers.

You would probably have to accept a reduced salary, but it's a possibility.

    Read this link;

    https://www.samuiforsale.com/knowledge/foreign-work-permit-application-thailand.html

For the WP I had some Information from here it is almost the same http://www.thaiembassy.com/thailand/work-permit-basics.php

they say ' Thai Immigration may consider work permit approval '

If your work involves supporting export of Thai products.

If you are married to a Thai citizen with a legalized marriage registration, publicly cohabiting as husband and wife, and with a legal profession.

That was the way I wanted to go to try get the WP on this requirements because we want to produce Food supplements  and export them to Germany if that is possible to get at my current situation

Having replied in another topic, but now seeing your financial situation, then a Non Imm O ME Visa is your only option at this point.

You will have to leave the Country every 90 days, to get another 90 day entry.

Once your financial position improves, you can obtain an 'extension based on marriage' to a Thai from your local Immigration office.

You can then make 90 day reports at that Immigration office.

Ok so if i get it right once ife got the 400k on my bank account i can obtain the 'extension based on marriage'  with the Non Imm O ME visa to?

Being married to a Thai allows you the right to work, you'd just need a work permit from the Dept of Labour.

The WP I can do right away when i arrive in Bangkok or?

You have to leave the country every 90 day with a multiple entry non-o visa. Or you can get a 60 day extension of the 90 day entry at immigration to visit your wife.

You can apply for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage during the last 30 days of any of the 90 entries from the visa. You will need 400k baht in a Thai bank in your name only for 2 months or proof of 40k baht income. With the extension you only need to do reports of staying longer than 90 days in the country to immigration.

thanks to you to ubonjoe like I mentioned ive opened a new topic for my case because ther are a few other things not so clear to me

Being married to a Thai you can apply for a Non Imm O ME Visa at the German Embassy/Consulate.

However with this type of Visa you will have to leave and re-enter every 90 days.

It is not possible to make 90 day reports at an Immigration office with this Visa.

Your better option would be to obtain a Non Imm O single entry Visa. (90 days)

Within the last 30 days of that Visa, apply for an 'annual extension based on marriage' at your local Immigration office.

You can make 90 day reports at the Immigration without leaving the Country.

There is a financial requirement to get the extension, which is either 400,000 baht deposited in a Thai bank, or proof of an income of 40,000 baht per month. If you use the income method you need to gat a letter from the German Embassy confirming such.

The vast majority of foreigners married to a Thai prefer to do the 'extension'

Thank you dentonian i opened a topic about my case because there are still a few things not clear to me now

  10. Hello Everyone I am new to this Forum ive been Searching a lot in the Internet for the last few months.

Reading on all the other Websites and Forums made me evan more confused then befor so I found you here and Hope Someone can help and make things clear for me.

To my Situation at this point now I am 30 years old still live in Germany with my wife (thai) and doughter (german/thai) for about 5 years we want to move tho Thailand soon.

Yesterday I Requested a Non Imm Visa O multiple based on marriage so this shuld come in a few days.

About 6 years ago we lived in Thailand at that time I had a Non Imm B visa and Traveled every 90 Days to Cambodia for the Extension. But In the last 6 years many things changed about staying in Thailand.

So there are a few things that are still unclear to me.

How is the Procedure when I arrive in Thailand do I have to contact Immigration office immediately within 24h?

Because we need to take care a few things in Bangkok first before we go on to Nong Phai Petchabun where we will sattle down.

The property we will live on belongs to my Wife but the House owner is her Father will That be a Problem for the tm30?

So and after the first 90 days whats the best for me to do?

We not have the 400k yet ond monthly income is not enaugh to at this point now. We still need to wait untill we sell some property in Bangkok but I dont know how quick this will be done.

Help and suggestions are welcome and many thanks in Advance

I will be moving to Thailand shortly together with my wife Thai and daughter Thai/German we lived about 5 years now together in Germany but we are at the point that we want to go back to Thailand before I Applied for a non imm B visa and did the visa run ever 90 days but that was 6 years ago and many things changed . Now I Requested a Non Imm O based on marriage multiple entry visa. So my question do I have to leave thailand every 90 days? Because how I understand it for extending 90 days at the Immigration Office I need to show the 400k at the bank or?
