What country is she from. She may need 6 months of passport validity since it varies by nationality.
Those from most countries that qualify for a visa exempt entry only need a passport validity for their length of stay.
There is no minimum leaving the country other than it must still be valid. The airline would be the ones that would not allow her to board if her passport did not meet the requirements for the country she is traveling to.
Check here to confirm if she meets the requirements. https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/
She is from Burma

I do not think you can enter ANY country with an expired passport.
It will have one month validity, it is not yet expired of course

ever heard of the universal Minimum 6 Months Rule thingy?
That is what I vaguely remember, that is why I ask. So is it true

Me and gf are going to travel, her passport will have 1 month validity when we enter Thailand, going to update her passport in her home country but want to travel trough Thailand.
Will we run into problems with her "within a month expired passport" upon entering/exit Thailand?
If I remember correctly, they need the passport to be valid for a few weeks when entering/exiting Thailand, but not sure

I think the fine is 500 baht.
To late to cancel it now.
Thank you
Too late? That sounds a little bit strange, you sure?

Thank you
That sounds good. However, I might want to work there in the future. Do you have an idea what the fine would be?
Is it easy to cancel the work permit, if so, I might consider doing it now if possible?

Forgot to cancel my work permit when I left Thailand. By now it's already expired and my plan is to enter Thailand on a tourist visa on arrival in a few months.
I heard someone said I could end up in trouble if I did not cancel my work permit, is that really correct?
How is that possible if my B-visa, nor work permit is valid? I will enter and exit Thailand as a tourist.

I am also interested in this topic, as my girlfriend for many years is from Myanmar, so if someone with recent experience could write something it would be nice.
