Has anyone done a visa run at Aran-Poipet in past few days? After Thailand closed the border last week because of the embassy attack, are only Thais and Cambodians barred from crossing? Are people of other nationalities able to still do the visa run as usual? Is the Cambodian embassy in Bangkok operating normally in issuing visas to cross into Poipet?

Could you pls help me be clear about this.

I'm holding a multiple entry one year Non-Immigr O ("others") visa.

I entered Thailand most recently on Nov 15 last year, so I am stamped to stay until Feb 12. The "Valid Until" date on my original visa is Feb 18; that would be one year since the visa was issued.

Do you mean that if I left and returned to Thailand on or before Feb 18, I would get 3 more months - until mid May? Even though the total would be more than one year?

If so, how close to Feb 18 should I return - 16, 17, 18th?

A simple crossing of the border (perhaps at Mae Sai-

Tachilek now that Aran-Poipet is closed) will suffice?

I need a multiple entry one year Business visa. It must be multiple entry. Does anyone have recent experience getting this visa from the embassy in Manila? What documentation did they require? How long did it take? I've read they've recently imposed additional burdens.
