  2. Hi fellow Lost watchers.

I have watched the show since it first aired. I love all the characters and the suspense. What do you think would happen if no-one reset the timer? I don't think anything would happen. I would like to know who "the others" are and where they came from. Where do you think they took Jack and them? They said they were ta king them home with them, but where's "home".

I was asking because I heard a story about a handicapped man who hired a hooker and she stole all his money. Just walked out. Nothing the man could do about it. Is there any recourse he can take?

Hello, My husband is looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonable cooking room or apt in chaing Rai.

He needs it by May first for at least 6 months. He is handicapped, so no stairs please.

    Sorry for the coincidence...

Well, so much for privacy. Yes, it was my husband. I', more mad about him losing 27,000 than hiring a hooker. Good detective work. :o

    Thank you.

    :D

I admire your liberal attitude to allow your husband his dalliances... and I guess the only positive way to look at the situation is that the woman was really, really good at it and that it was somehow worth the out-of-the-ordinary fees.

What the heck, if my hubby wants to live out the rest of his life in paradise with a pretty girl, who am I to care. I had him for over 40 years. Only problem is, he never got anything. She went out for condoms and took his money with him. Stupid!!!Man

  5. I was wondering if there are rules and regulations regarding Hookers in Thailand? Do they have to be screened for diseases. etc. I mean if they are part of a brothel. How about stealing from their Johns. Can they be arrested or anything for that, or just too bad for the John?

Thanks for all the info and jokes and fun stuff.

  8. tooth = fun

    BF/GF = fan

    right?

    Explorer  :o

Maybe the answer is for the POSTER of words is to include a English word or saying and UNDERLINE the section to indicate the pronounced word they have given.

    Ie

    fun = teeth or tooth

(I had FUN at the fair today)

    Khaw-Thort = sorry / excuse me

(The rook makes a CAW sound, this is what I was TAUGHT at school)Pronounce as one word

    Chock-Dee = good luck

(The last CHOCK was taken away by CynDEE so the vehicle could move)

    See-Far = the color blue

(I can't SEE to FAR in the mist of the night)

    Ling - monkey (generic name)

(Today on a fishing trip I caught a LING fish)

    Gin-Jock = geko

(I drink GIN and tonic, but my scottish friend JOCK drinks beer)Pronounce as one word

    tor-a-sap = telephone

(i TORE some bark from A tree and I could see the SAP dripping down) Pronounce as one word

Any one any thoughts on this idea, but for sure WE do need to use one format here, the problem is many Thai words have no English equivalent, but we should be able to get many many basic words on this thread.

    Cheers

  9. Hi, my husband is determined to live in Chaing Mai. He was in Phuket in Jan. for a month and fell in Love. I will not be going. He is 65 and handicapped. He wants to rent a house or something in the area of CM or CR. He can pay about 12-15,000 bht a month. It should be furnished with a tv and a bed. perfer a pool. Will also need a housekeeper- 24-7. Sounds crazy, but he wants to do this and I won't stop him, so I must help him.

    Please, be serious with me.

    Thank you
