The current Thailand civil & commercial code statute of limitation for credit card debt collection is 3 years from the date of default. The limitation period is a complete defense to a collection lawsuit filed beyond the three-year period. However, any post-default payment by the debtor starts a new three-year limitation running.
You might want to check whether the credit card issuer has filed a lawsuit within the three-year period.

Having lived and worked in Thailand for over 20 years, the worst treatment I've ever received at any Thai hospital or clinic is that provided to me recently at San Paolo Hospital, Hua Hin.
The Hospital Director was kind enough to send me a letter apologizing for the hospital staff's unprofessional conduct.
There are better, safer, more professional alternatives in Hua Hin and elsewhere. Be warned that your experience might parallel mine!

My files are set up on 8 1/2x11 inch paper, but I can't find anyone in Hua Hin that sells 8 1/2x11 inch paper. I can trim A4 paper at the bottom but I can't make it wider! Are there any suppliers in the Hua Hin area? Or suppliers who could order 8 1/2x11 inch paper? Tnx!

There will be local and foreign dealers at the FIP International Stamp show, 5th Floor Siam Paragon, November 28 to December 3rd. This is a major international show held only once a decade in Thailand. While it is a stamp show, many of the local dealers also buy and sell coins and paper money. Good luck!
