You can consider October for a Myanmar trip. But I would like to suggest you to wait another month and visit Myanmar in November. Your trip plan also sounds good to me. If possible also include Inle Lake in your trip. I think 7 days will be enough to cover Mandalay City, Yangon, Bagan and Inle Lake.
